20.01.2022 Throughout term 4, Mrs Lewis our teacher librarian worked with some of our Yr 1 &2 students on an extension English project. Each student was given a book to read and a large paper bag to decorate. They needed to decorate their paper bag with the book title, author and an image of the book. When they had completed these tasks they were required to construct a character cube and decorate a small paper bag with important or main ideas from the book. The final activity was to... make a board game based on their book. Phew!!! Just when they thought they were finished these students were asked to present their work to the leadership team. No pressure at all for our extension students. They all spoke clearly about the story they had read and made connections between their artefacts and the story. Well done to everyone. A special thank you to Mrs Lewis. See more
