03.01.2022 I’m still far away from my making lifelong memories with my little family! My beautiful daughter Zanya had such a special experience releasing the cutest baby turtles into the ocean in our beautiful Sri Lanka. Did you know that: 5 of the world’s 7 turtle species come from Sri Lanka The females return to the same beach they themselves hatched on to lay their eggs Only 10% of turtles even make it to adulthood due to various dangers The turtles initial walk to the ...ocean after hatching is the most dangerous walk as they are vulnerable to being eaten by watching prey In the sea they have new dangers such as fishing nets/boat propellers/sharks and other prey/illegal fishing We are blessed to have a small hand at making sure these little turtles atleast got to the ocean safely #pianowithchristina #pianist #pianistsofinstagram #pianoteacher #srilanka #turtles #blessedbeyondmeasure #grateful #nature
