25.01.2022 Dear Member As I am sure you are all aware, we have now moved into the Stage 3 restrictions for Covid-19. Now this means that the limits placed on Netball have been reduced and we are no longer limited to groups of 20 and are permitted to resume contact training. Our coaches will receive all the relevant protocols from My Netball and SDNA. They will be able to train under these regulations from June 15th 2020 are first training session for PWNC will be Wednesday 17th June at ...this stage unless there are any changes from SDNA, courts will be confirmed ASAP. Regarding a return to playing Netball for NSG and Juniors, the first playing game for the season starts on the June 27th. Although the Stage 3 restrictions allow for games to be played from June 6th, there is a lot of planning work still to be done before the season to get underway. You will receive an email by the end of this weekend from your coach with times for training etc. The main points to consider are - Teams with more than 20 players (including coaches) are no longer required to separate into separate groups. Contact drills and games simulation exercises are now permitted. Coaches are still required to record attendance for each session which will be submitted to the club in case My Netball or SDNA requests them. Due to the 100 person rule, we ask that all parents continue to drop players off and return to pick them up at the end of the training or remain in their cars during training sessions, To ensure we do not exceed the attendance limit. Further information regarding the season length and structure will be available soon as we have it. Again, I would like to thank everyone for their patience during this time. Thank you PWNC

11.01.2022 All members As you may be aware, Premier Mark McGowan announced yesterday that Western Australia will move into Phase 4 from Saturday 27 June. Which is great news for our sport. Netball WA and the City of Gosnells will be working through the implications of this to the sport of netball over the coming days. Therefore Southern Districts Netball Association can confirm we wont be starting our Winter competition until Saturday 11th July so we can implement the protocols requ...ired. Please ensure that your club remains operating under the current Phase 3 protocols for the remainder of this week and until we implement Phase 4 which will be communicated to all clubs as soon as we have confirmation of what we can and cannot do. We are so close now. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Kind Regards,

08.01.2022 Congratulations to all teams that have made it to the Winter Grand Final this Saturday 19th September 2020. We understand that making a Grand Final is extremel...y special for all involved, however as we are still under COVID-19 restrictions we request the following. - Limited Spectators - All Spectators to remain on the Grass area (Green Area shown on map) - Players, Coaches, Managers, Scorer & Timer to sit on the side of courts (Shown on map) - Presentations this year will be made immediately on the court by the umpires officiating your match. We ask that both teams move to the designated area on the court (shown on the map) so spectators can see an hear the presentations. - Photos please ensure all photos are completed off the court after presentations are concluded. (We ask clubs to email us a copy of their photos for our records) Good Luck to all involved, play by the rules and enjoy the fact that we made a Grand Final during this pandemic

06.01.2022 Please see below a message from SDNA regarding spectators at the Saturday games. Good Afternoon Everyone We are writing to ask that you keep informing your spectators of the requirements that SDNA have in place regarding spectator areas.... With the current restrictions we ask that all spectators stay on the grass area to view the games. SDNA are allowing BYO chairs. The reason we are writing to you is because on Saturday 18th July 2020 during an 8.30am NSG timeslot, we had spectators sitting courtside and once approached by our SDNA volunteers explaining to them of our requirements, the spectators replied we know our club has told us, however we wanted to see how long it would take for SDNA to come and tell us to move. This is not acceptable as we have many volunteers working around the clock to ensure Netball is played this winter for all to enjoy. Assistance enforcing our restrictions would be very much appreciated. If our requirements cant be taken seriously then we may be forced to ask spectators to leave the grounds. Kind Regards Nicole Prothero Administrator On Behalf of SDNA Executive
