25.01.2022 3 Common Causes of Lower Back Pain Poor lifting technique - Remember to bend at the knees, keep your back straight (dont twist!) and hold the load close to your body. If the object is heavy or an awkward shape, get someone to help you lift. Prolonged sitting/standing - change your position frequently to avoid stress on your lower back. We recommend moving around at least every half an hour. Sustained bending forward from the lower back - bending down puts strain on t...he muscles, nerves and ligaments in your lower back and over long periods can lead to damage. Dont live with lower back pain any longer, we can help! Every body is different, so if youre experiencing lower back pain, well work to identify the exact cause of your pain and treat accordingly.
