07.01.2022 Attention McMahons Point Locals, Residents, Businesses and Visitors. North Sydney Council has released a draft plan for the upgrade of Blues Point Rd. In a nutshell the street will lose around 20 Parking spots and introduce meters to the remaining few spots around all the businesses in McMahons Point, including ours, placing more demand on residential side streets and severely impacting the viability and functionality of the area as a village. There are some good ideas with ...lighting and improved public places, however the plan still needs to be practical, and parking is integral to that, especially in an area where parking is at a premium as it is.
