25.01.2022 A heartfelt and genuine referral is the kindest way you can support a small business owner. I think most have now seen the fun reels of small business owners doing a happy dance after each sale or contract signed. We REALLY do a happy dance. Honestly. Each contract Piccolo signs with a client, it’s a dance of joy, excitement and anticipation. The second half of 2020 has shifted our goals and focus here at Piccolo. Joining this group has helped us grow our strategy and focus and ultimately helped us service our clients even better! 2021 is going to be amazing and huge. Watch. This. Space. 20.01.2022 Each Monday I ask my clients.. ''What are we working on this week?'' Today, I received some complicated and long-winded answers.... The short version of the answers were, ''I'm not sure, actually''. As we turn towards the Christmas finish line, we often start creating work that needs to be done before the end of the year under the premise of 'winding-down' or 'preparing for next year'. Those lists tend to distract from primary purpose and priorities, and should be built into workflow throughout the year. When we lose sight of our vision, we end up in a position where we cannot succinctly answer what our focus is for the week ahead. If I were to ask you, ''What are you working on this week''? Can you answer it? Does it align with your goals and priorities? If not, what needs to be done to achieve a clear vision of the task-at-hand? That's an overwhelming task some weeks. For our clients, the weekly check-in is our opportunity to recalibrate and reconnect with the big-picture goals. What is Piccolo working on this week for our clients? - Christmas closure staffing and support plans - AGM event planning and invitations - 'Thank you for attending' email marketing campaign At a glance, these tasks may not appear to be important to our clients vision or mission statement, but if you strip it back, you will see: - Team wellbeing and business continuation - Member engagement - Customer retention So, what are you working on this week?

19.01.2022 Dr. Seuss had the right idea. Every day we get excited about the potential of our clients and how we can help them grow and evolve. As a Remote Resource, every day is unique and every client offers another opportunity to create and contribute to success.

14.01.2022 There isn’t a week that goes by where we don’t hear Mr. Piccolo say, I have an idea, it might be crazy but it’ll be so crazy it might actually work. Annoyingly, he’s usually right. As a small team, based in multiple locations, we are always bouncing ideas and troubleshooting together by phone, email or zoom.
