22.01.2022 Come and have a beautiful picnic brunch, while raising funds for ground breaking resurch! It's my birthday A bittersweet day for me also. My yaya (grandmother in greek) lost her battle to breast cancer on this day, when I was four. I only have 2 memories of her. One was visiting her in hospital and I would get her lolly stash and share them with the other patients. The other is a nurse coming to drain her wound in her bedroom. I didn't know what was happening at the ti...me obviously, but I knew it wasn't good. I wish I had the chance to spend more time with her. I only know her through wild family stories. She was one of those rare people who lit up a room with her smile and laughter. Made you feel like you were really important. That you couldnt help but want to be around her. But I'll never get that chance. This is just my story, there are thousands of stories like this. So in loving memory of my yaya and all the other grandmothers, daughters, sisters and men. Yes guys get it to. I'm hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast to raise money for better research and kick this cancer in the butt! I've created an event called Pink Ribbon Picnic Brunch. 08.01.2022 It was such a wonderful weekend spent with my family. To celebrate my little (notsolittle) guys christening. We held the reception at @psaribarandgrill where we all ate way to much. It's some of the best food we have had here on the coast to be honest. Apart from my grazing boxes of course lol. I got to use our new stand with a balloon garland. Perfect back drop to this custom cake made for us by @lea.cake.design.
