21.01.2022 Sometimes a fabric arrives on my doorstep and all best laid plans literally FLY out the window. This was exactly the case when Idyllic by Minki Kim arrived. You guys I knew it would be gorgeous but the online pics did not do it justice. I love everything about it from the modern florals to divine coordinating bias stripes! Now don't get me wrong I still have big plans for this quilt as it will be the second cover model for my upcoming quilt pattern Bursting Heart but sometimes you just need to Stop, Drop and Create. 11.01.2022 I’ve been meaning to make a curved heat bag for a whirl now but as you all know meaning to do something and actually finding the time to do it is always completely different . Today I gave myself the time this morning to try the free tutorial from @under.the.elms and I love it! This features a removeable cover and a sectioned bag inside to keep those pesky lupins in place. I used a fun print from @hollizollinger for the cover which I got from @hansenprintandtex last year.
