We need you at the stadium this SUNDAY at 2pm in your All members: The KBBA requests that you please come down to the stadium on Sunday afternoon for a special announcement on the future of Goldfields Basketball. We need as many people at the stadium in playing uniform as we can get, so come down and have a shoot around and hear our HUGE news!

21.01.2022 Piccadilly Saints Basketball Club Gradings will be held at the Oasis on Sunday the 13th and Sunday the 20th of September 8am - 9am under 10s (born in 2012/2011) 9am - 10 am under 12s (born in 2010/2009) 10am - 11am under 14s (born in 2008/2007)... 11am - 12pm under 16s (born in 2006/2005) 12pm- 1pm under 19s (born in 2004/2003/2002) If you can not make registrations please email the club. Team nominations must be in to the KBBA by the end of September . These two sessions will allow us to nominate and grade teams accordingly . Please return all supplied uniforms from last season. Senior training will commence at a later date. Watch this space . We are awaiting court hire availability and will let you know as soon as possible . See you there

10.01.2022 Aussie Hoops in Kalgoorlie-Boulder is back for 2021! Now that local basketball is back underway, we're excited to get Aussie Hoops back on the Goldfields basket...ball calendar. Our Term 1 program will be commencing from Sunday 14th February for all children aged 5-10. With the ability to cater for any skill level, our Rookies and Starters programs are designed for the absolute novice to those who have been through the program before. The seven session program will be running over Sunday mornings throughout February and March, along with a midweek session to cover for the long weekend in March. First session is Sunday 14th February 2021. Registrations for both programmes are online at http://bit.ly/kbbaaussiehoops As per last program, the new look Aussie Hoops packs are a personalised singlet, size 4 basketball and a bag, Make sure you tell all of your friends and family about it. 08.01.2022 SENIOR FINALS This week marks the start of our senior finals series. Congratulations to all qualifying teams, we look forward to a competitive conclusion to... the season and encourage all players play hard and fair and leave it all out there on the court. Please remember that all players, coaches, spectators, officials and referees are bound by the Basketball WA Code of Conduct and other relevant policies. The KBBA have adopted the Zero Tolerance Policy and any arguing, violence, abuse or other antisocial behavior will not be tolerated. Let the players play, the coaches coach, respect the refs and enjoy the fact that our competition is continuing despite the global pandemic. Please ensure that ALL persons over 16 scan in using the SafeWA app or paper contact register. Please use hand sanitizer located at the entrance and ensure social distancing and good hygiene practices are adhered to. Reminder for teams: - Only players who are qualified are eligible to play in the finals. - There is overtime played in all grades. - The last 5 minutes of finals for D2 and D3 are fully timed, so each team needs to provide an experienced score bench official. - D1 teams need to provide one scorer each. Game timing is as normal. - All players must be in correct uniform. - Each team must have a listed coach on the Courtside app. If the team does not have an official coach, one must be nominated from the players. 07.01.2022 UNIFORMS II Attention all U12’s and U14’s Players from last season. Club supplied Uniforms must be returned to the club immediately. If uniforms are not returned, the club will require players to purchase their own uniforms going forward. This is a big expense to the club and we require everyone to look after each other and return your uniforms. Thanks!

06.01.2022 Beginning tomorrow, 5th December, all people over the age of 16 attending the Niels Hansen Basketball Stadium must register their attendance for COVID-19 contac...t tracing. Persons under 16 are not required to register their attendance but are encouraged to do so. This is Statewide at certain venues and businesses. You can register attendance either using the SafeWA App or by manually signing in on the provided register in the entry to the stadium. the KBBA encourage patrons to use the SafeWA app to avoid congestion and delays in entering the stadium. The information collected is used by the WA Department of Health should there be a COVID outbreak. All grades will play that week, including Under 10's and Under 12's on the 19th December. Final fixtures for the last week of games in December will be out this weekend.
