20.01.2022 Thank you to everyone that has been supporting us through all our troubling times, We have gone from drought, to fire, to floods, now to Corona Virus. It has been very tough over the last 6 months but you, our fantastic customers have gotten us though all of this. So a huge thank you from us to you. I have been in touch with the NSW Health Department to find out if the farm can remain open and they have advised me that as long as we adhere to social distancing and limitations... on how many enter the farm we are ok to go ahead. So this weekend Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th March,we will be open for pick your own fruits and veggies from 10am to 4pm each day. The shop is open from 8am to 5pm each day for (take away only) food, beverages and the best apple pie you will ever eat. We also have plenty of fruit and veggies for sale in the shop. We are also offering a drive though service for the shop if you do not want to get out of your car, commencing from Saturday 28th March. We will have someone standing outside taking your orders and you can park your car and we will bring everything out to you. Please be patient with us and our staff during these uncertain times. We need to all work together to get through this. Unfortunately, the showbag van has had to leave Bilpin but they will be back when everything settles down. Thank you to those people that came last weekend and bought showbags off them. Saw lots of very excited and happy children. Pls bring your own carry bags with you out to the farm. We accept both cash and eftpos. Entry fee to farm is $5 each adult and $3 for children between the ages of 3 and 15. Whilst here on the farm make sure you visit our cafe on the premises for any of our delicious meat pies or equally, very famous, very delicious apple pies, cakes and scones. 19.01.2022 I am so sorry for the late notice but the farm at The Bilpin Fruit Bowl will be closed Sunday 26th and Monday 27th January as we have sold out of ripe fruit. This has never happened to us before where we have had to do this. I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience. All the apples (that I thought would last these 3 days ) were all picked today. We will re-open again next weekend for apple picking. The 6000 apple trees we lost to the fires would have been ready for pick...ing this weekend, but unfortunately now this is not the case. The shop will remain open everyday from 8am to 5pm. Today we were inundated with thousands of awesome people coming to the farm to support us and all I can say is a huge THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!! It is so humbling to us what everybody is doing in supporting us. Please still come to our shop as we still need your support, grab an delicious apple pie, some honey, apple cider or homemade jam.

08.01.2022 The Bilpin Fruit Bowl was impacted by fire on Saturday 21st December at about 1pm. Thankfully the fantastic firies from RFSNSW and FRNSW, my hubby and my son managed to save our shop and our homes but unfortunately the same cannot be said for the farm. The main thing my family is all safe. At this stage we do not know when we can reopen, but as soon as the roads up here are safe and are opened up it will be back to business for us. I have been a volunteer firie with the r...ural fire service for the last 30 years. These days I don't go on fire trucks (my body is too old to get up and down those trucks)but help out in the fire station and many other support roles. I just want to say I have been through many bush fires here in Bilpin but have never seen anything like this. This is one very fierce and angry fire which is leaving nothing in its path. Pray for rain so this fire can end. I will post photos when I can get back home and take them. Finally, thank you to each and every one of u that has called and messaged me. Your concern for us is overwhelming. Hope to see u all very soon. Cheers Margaret Tadrosse

08.01.2022 We cant seem to catch a break, first fires, then heat, now flood. Due to the extremely heavy rain this weekend, we have no choice but to close pick your own as it is too slippery and muddy out in the farm. Hopefully next weekend is perfect weather for apple picking. So sorry for any inconvenience.

07.01.2022 Firstly i would like to thank each and everyone of you that liked, commented or shared my post last week. Secondly, your support of our business is overwhelming. We can't even begin to thank everybody. The farm will be open Saturday 25th, Sunday 26th and Monday 27th January between 1...0 am and 4pm each of these days. We will have Royal Gala apples available for picking at $5/kg. We will also have our usual veggies for picking too (pls see my last post for list of veggies). Pls bring your own carry bags with you. We accept both cash and eftpos. Entry fee to farm is $5 each adult and $3 for children between the ages of 3 and 15. Whilst here on the farm make sure you visit our cafe for any of our delicious meat pies o r apple pies, cakes and scones. All cakes and pastries are all made here at the shop. 06.01.2022 Thank you to the hundreds of people that came out to the farm over the last weekend and picked fruit. It was very much appreciated. Hope you are enjoying your produce. I have again checked with the NSW Health Department and it is still OK for us to be open. After all last weeks comments and concerns I delved a little further and was told by the Department that as long as your travel is to buy food that you are allowed to travel to come here. Please feel free to comment bu...t all unnecessary and hurtful comments and any fighting will be deleted immediately. Lets all try to be nice. Social distancing still has to apply but that is not hard to do on our farm. We still have a large crop of Pink Lady apples that we need to pick before we lose the whole crop, so if you need to get out of the house this weekend for your mental health and/or to purchase fruit, please come to Bilpin, we need you. So the farm will be open this weekend Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May ,we will be open for pick your own fruits and veggies from 10am to 4pm each day. We will be monitoring the amount of people entering the farm. Please be patient if we reach capacity and you are waiting to come in. Please help us out by sharing the update with your family and friends. This weekend we will have available for picking Pink Lady Apples $5/kg; and Red Delicious apples $5.00/kg; black capsicums (very rare), green capsicums $6.00/kg, Black Olives $5.00/kg; zucchini $6.00/kg; eggplants $2.00 each; chillies $12.00/kg, veggies are coming to an end so they may not last all weekend.
