25.01.2022 Our Centenary colouring completion has been well supported by not only our own Pickering Brook Primary students, but also students from Walliston, Lesmurdie, Falls Road and Gooseberry Hill Primary Schools as well as Roleystone Community College. Thank you to all students and staff for supporting our school. All entries are on display in our main building and now it’s up to our wonderful art teacher, Kate Tunney, to judge the entries. I think it will be a very difficult deci...sion indeed. The winners will be announced at the Open Day on Saturday. The original artwork was produced by one of our students, Maya, as part of our art programme. Well done Maya! I hope you all take time during our Open Day to look at all the amazing entries.

20.01.2022 Our 1986 Time Capsule has been recovered! If you were a student at that time please come along to the Open Day on Saturday to collect your very own 30 year old memorabilia. You will need to sign for your envelope in the school library. Sadly, after three digs the 1996 Time Capsule is still hiding. If you were a student in that year, please come along to meet up with old school friends and chat about what you wrote in your letters to yourselves all those years ago.

04.01.2022 On December 1 1915 Pickering Brook School welcomed its first 7 students. Today, December 1 2015 our 140 plus students, family members and staff witnessed the burying of our Centenary Time Capsule. Students and staff wrote letters to themselves in 20 years. It was a very happy moment in time for our school. Huge thanks to Neil and Mark for digging the hole and Toby for helping out with the burying.

03.01.2022 We had an amazing response to our colouring in competition not only from Pickering Brook children but also from children from surrounding schools. Thank you to all schools that encouraged their students to participate. The winners of the competition have been notified. They were: Dylan - Roleystone Community College, Sophie - Falls Road Primary School, Liam Pickering Brook and Hannah Pickering Brook. Congratulations to all our winners.
