21.01.2022 Did you know that Pickle Yoga are offering many different classes with lots of nourishing styles to choose from? (Please also see our events tab for all upcoming events.) All classes caters for beginner - advanced level with opportunities to advance within the class independently. ... All programs are designed to guide body and mind from an active state of fight and flight (sympathetic nervesystem) into relaxation (parasympathetic nervesystem activation). Below you can read a short description of each styles: - Flow Yoga - A gentle yet powerful sequence of asanas encapsulated by breath. A meditation in motion practice with less talk, more breath and flow. Balance, focus and conscious movements. - Meditation - Seated, laying, standing using breath and intercepted awareness as focal point for a deepened experience. We also use the healing powers of vibrations through chanting to realign the body and mind through sound and breath. - Remedial Yoga - Your go to yoga to gain important knowledge about the anatomical aspects of the body. Main goal is to bring awareness to misalignment and change general patterns of movement to create unity in the body - eliminating physical and mental discomfort. - Restorative Yoga - A restorative yoga class is your go to class to treat yourself. Especially if you are feeling low on energy, maybe even fatigued and mentally/physically drained for personal reasons. In this class we are taking the time to slowly transition through different resting poses whilst allowing the body to cleanse and release all tension. - Sleep meditation - Guided meditation whilst being supported by props in a resting post. In this meditation your are being offered guidance through different brainwaves as we bring the attention inwards for a powerful release. Slowly undoing past hurts and releasing all behaviour which is no longer serving you. - Senior/Chair yoga - Accessible yoga for all people who needs that bit of extra gentle attention. Classes are 45min. Long compared to our 60min. classes and they also come at a reduced price. 11.01.2022 COVID 19: Information for our yoga community As we see the rise in the number of coronavirus cases across Australia and with the World Health Organisation (WHO) declaring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) - pandemic, we believe like many other yoga businesses that it is extremely important for us to stay up to date with the most appropriate measures to best prevent and manage the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in our community and beyond. At Pickle Yoga we would like to in...form you that we continue to stay updated from reliable sources to ensure we respond responsibly to the current local and global health situation. We would like to inform you that at this stage our in-house classes are ON as planned and if this changes we will inform you immediately. Please also keep in mind, we understand that our stance may need to change. Like many community based businesses we are also taking other precautionary steps to ensure the health and wellbeing of our community when they come to our training premises. Please read the information below with the steps of - What we are doing: Stocking the bathrooms with plenty of soap and providing hand sanitizer. 10.01.2022 An important message and inquiry to your soul self. Namaste dear one. In these challenging times most of us have witnessed different examples on survival instinct and coping mechanisms. I believe there is always a good explanation as to why we act the way we do, as well as doing what we think is right in that very moment. ... We can not know today what we will learn tomorrow and this is why I am making this inquiry today. This seperation can impose loneliness, anxiety, extreme pressure financially or in terms of responsibility, uncertainty of coming futures impact and much more. Even with this in my mind I implore you, I am speaking to your heart and your higher self - your spirit if I may..... It is time to shine. It is time to allow your consciousness and unconditional love to guide you. Flowing with the stream and noticing you are still being carried and supported on this unknown journey. As scary as it feels you are about to learn many useful skills - especially cultivating true appreciation, surrender, forgiveness, letting go and unconditional love for this world and everyone in it, because we ARE all in this together. Below is an example on a meditation to help you move away from discomfort and into comfort. You can read this, make it your own and then reciting it quietly in your silent mind as you hold a rememberence of your intention. Take a breath in through the nose.... Maybe closing down the eyes. Inviting space between the shoulders and the ears, softening through the face. And then notice.... Notice where you are feeling movement of breath. Notice the sounds that surrounds you. Textures... Colours.. Smells. Maybe even inviting a smile onto your lips and just breathe like this for a sequence of 6-12 breaths. You've got this. Thanks for reading this if you made it this far.
