09.01.2022 COVID-19 Today we have been notified by a parent who attended Deverall Park on Saturday 29th August that they have tested positive to COVID 19. They were a...t the park for the 9:45am game. BCNA have been in contact with Liverpool Public Health Unit for advice regarding our competition and the impact for our members. Any person on the park on Saturday during this timeslot is considered by NSW Health to be a casual contact. Please see the factsheet below from NSW Health regarding casual contacts. Casual contacts should monitor for symptoms for 14 days. If symptoms develop GET TESTED. Symptoms to look out for include: Fever Cough Sore throat Shortness of breath (difficulty breathing) The Public Health Unit have advised that there are no changes required to the way we protect our members at Deverall Park. GAMES WILL CONTINUE THIS WEEKEND The Public Health Unit has commended us, on the way that everyone has enforced the restrictions and we would like to thank our clubs and members, who assist every week in ensuring same. This case highlights the importance of continuing to be diligent in following restrictions. BCNA Executive requests that everyone kindly continues to abide by our restrictions - Physical distancing of 1.5m on the sidelines One parent/guardian per child for morning games No parents or spectators for our afternoon senior teams (coach, manager and scorer continue to be allowed) Please also ensure that you put your contact details on the white registration sheets that are provided on every scoreboard. These sheets must be completed with details of every player, team official, umpire and parents/guardians on the sideline. The time people arrive at the court and the time people leave the court must be completed (this is not the time you arrive at and leave the park). These registers are kept for 28 days and we are required to supply them to NSW Health for contact tracing purposes.
