25.01.2022 Only a couple of weeks until Picnic at Ross returns to it's roots and the original concept of "lets meet in Ross for a picnic". There are plenty of options for food, two bakeries, Ross take away, Wisteria Cafe and of course Man O Ross Hotel. Ross Village Market will be on plus all the attractions Ross has to offer. Autumn will be awesome with plenty of autumn leaves to shuffle through. ... There have been some inquiries about parking on the day, so here are a few suggestions. Please do not park across driveways. Get in early for the best parking spots. First in best dressed as they say. Parking in Church Street is parallel only. Bridge and High streets can angle park. Plenty of parking on the Old School Oval in Bridge Street. Small car park at the Bridge where there is an electric BBQ. On the grass in High Street down toward the Motel or on the grass along the River in front of the Motel. If there has been a lot of rain this may not be the best option. A local has generously allowed parking on his vacant land for the day in High Street across the road from the Motel. Hope you all have a great day in Ross.

16.01.2022 If you're coming to Ross tomorrow this is just a glimpse of the beautiful Autumn colours you can expect to find. P@R isn't a car show as such. It's an event for people to come together with their cars and enjoy a day in Ross. No organisation, just turn up, park up, bring a picnic or support the local eateries and have a nice day. See the previous post for parking tips.

06.01.2022 There's a great atmosphere when a few hundred of the finest special interest vehicles and their owners come together in one of the finest heritage villages in Tasmania for a picnic. Thanks to everyone who turned up on a beautiful Autumn day to showcase your vehicles and Ross together. From the positive feedback it looks like Picnic at Ross is back in the Village.... Check out www.facebook.com/pictureross for some great photos from the day
