In a time when social isolation is key to the health of many of our population... rest assured our Blue Mountains picnics are literally in the middle of no where! Well be introducing some new precautionary hygiene measures to ensure the safety of our staff and customers, but In my opinion I feel like sitting in the middle of the bush is probably one of the healthiest places to be right now If you have a booking with us and you have recently returned from overseas, fall ill and/or have been in contact with someone who is ill. Please contact us and we will be happy to reschedule your picnic!

20.01.2022 Theres been some much needed cooler wet weather in the Blue Mountains we are yet to check the full extent of the damage to the spots that we frequently use, however we have our fingers and toes crossed that we will be operational again within a week or so! Weve also got some exciting creative ideas for the new year that we will be announcing over the coming months! Thank you to all our beautiful customers that have stood by us in this hard time and to all the other small businesses who have sent us messages and shared my page. Youre all amazing and to all the firies (RFS, volunteers, National Parks) you are all heroes and we will find a way to give back when we are back on top

18.01.2022 WERE BACK!!! Finally after 6 looonnngggg weeks of closure due to bushfires. We are now back up and running! Finally starting our new year! We had big pond for the start of this year but we will have to put everything on hold while we recoup our losses. 17.01.2022 Just a little update from us. Were still closed due to bushfires but hoping to open back up in the new year and when the Blue Mountains gets some much needed rain. Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive during this time. Its bad for us but my gosh I cant even begin to imagine what it has been like for those who have lost their homes! I’m a mum to 2 very busy kiddies, a wife to a husband that works non-stop, the owner of a business in 2 locations, a boss to 2 beautiful women, i’m a daughter, a sister and a friend! Women are absolutely incredible and we deserve more recognition for what we achieve (and for us Mums probably on very little sleep)! Love to all the women in my life! I live in Byron Bay, we moved here a year ago and I take care of all the businessy stuff from home while our two lovely girls Chloe and Emma handle the setting up of all your amazing picnics and grazes back in the Blue Mountains! So heres a little about me... I grew up in the beautiful Blue Mountains Im so inspire...d by nature I left school when I was 14 to pursue a career in make-up artistry (I thought I knew everything ) I am a proud Wiradjuri woman, growing up as an Aboriginal woman has taught me a lot! 12.01.2022 Well my lovely followers I’m saddened to have to let you all know that we are closing! As you may know the new social distancing laws allow you to leave your house for ‘ESSENTIAL’ outings only. Unfortunately we don’t sit in that category at the moment! We took a huge hit during the 10weeks of bushfires over summer and now Covid-19. We aren’t sure if we will make it out the other end but for now we will close and re-assess when this is all over! Thank you for your continued support! I’ll still be posting pretty picnic posts here and there through this time if you have a booking with us please get in touch and we will work through processing refunds! All valid gift vouchers have been extended a further 3 months so far (with the possibility of further extensions)

07.01.2022 What once was green is now all black these bushfires affect every single one of us! Including small businesses, especially small business that rely on the great outdoors! Weve been closed for almost 3 weeks now with no end in site! How we are going to continue to pay rent and insurance during this time is beyond me. This is not what matters though! What matters is that the world is changing, forever! Now is the time to do something! If you arent already doing your bit for... the environment please make it your goal for 2020! Minimise waste, say no to plastics, minimise animal products and meat consumption, go to climate change marches, support green businesses, support green energy and the list goes on. If every individual started to do their bit maybe our leaders would too... my 4 year old son asked me today is Mother Earth is dying If a 4 year old is concerned we should be shaking in our boots! Im busily working behind the scenes (at midnight because my kids have decided bed time isnt a thing anymore) to get back to all your enquires! Gosh I cant even put into words how grateful I am we cant wait to be back creating beautiful picnics again this weekend!

Heres why... * You get sent the directions to your location prior to your picnic so we have zero physical interaction with you. * The person you picnic with is most likely someone you are already close with * you cant get to these locations via public transport, just the comfort of your socially isolated car * We have implemented extra cleaning and disinfecting measures to ensure your safety ... * the picnic locations we use are as isolated as you can get (not to mention the goodness of the fresh mountains air) After the bushfires I was positive we could build our business back up. To be honest I have lost a lot of hope and its likely we will have to close our doors in the near future. If you have been wanting to experience one of our picnics now might be your last chance! 02.01.2022 Spring has sprung and boy are we excited for some spring picnics

02.01.2022 Small businesses often arent able to prepare for catestrophic events. For starters we very rarely have large sums of money laying about. As per my previous post our business has been hit hard by these fires. It is usually our peak trading time but we havent been able to hold a picnic in over 3 weeks! Every local blue mountains business has been hit hard. Our thoughts are with the Blue Mountains local community this Christmas, to those who have lost their homes, I cant eve...n begin to think what they are going through. My dad has been out fighting fires for national parks day in and day out! He is exhausted as im certain every fire fighter is! What an amazing job they all do risking their lives to protect! I lived in the Blue Mountains for 20 years weve seen plenty of fires! But never anything like this! The world is changing. On that note Im going to make the best of a shitty situation and take some time off and spend this Christmas with my family and hopefully coming up with some great ideas to overcome this hard business time! Thank you to those who have supported me this year. Ill be back at it when we get some decent rain and the fires are no longer a threat to the Blue Mountains.
