23.01.2022 What is HPE Day? During Week 7 the PDHPE faculty will be running the ACHPER National PHE Day is on Wednesday the 2nd of September. This has been designed to raise awareness of, and advocate for, a greater focus of HPE in our schools. The theme of HPE day is Good for Children, Good for Schools and Good for Communities. What are we doing?... Due to our faculty having such a love for physical education we want to share that love and enthusiasm with the school and the local community throughout the week. There will be a number of round robin competitions on at lunch time between all year groups on set days. Week 7 Overview: Monday 31/08/20: Years 7 and 8 Round robin competitions. Tuesday 1/09/20: Years 9/10/11/12 round robin competitions. Wednesday 2/08/20: Dress up as your favorite Sports Star. There will be a gold coin donation to Beyond Blue for Mental Health and Suicide Awareness. Our aim is to raise over $600 for the organisation. Appropriate footwear and clothing must be worn to school. E.g. No football boots, singlets, tights, sports equipment, swimsuits, sprint spikes etc. If in doubt ask Mr Anderton or your Year Advisor what you can wear.
