Flossy being an older lady stayed still enough for a picture but younger Ralph was too busy wagging his tail, dancing and running around to stay in focus. Great fun had by all.

18.01.2022 Got a new puppy.consider an: Introduction to grooming schedule It is very important to introduce your new puppy to grooming from as young as 12 weeks old which should be around the same time they finish having their puppy vaccinations.... Grooming can be a daunting process with all the new sounds, smells, equipment and being moved around into different positions so the younger your puppy is exposed to all of this the better. Particularly if you have a breed of dog that will require life long grooming (i.e. shih tsu, maltese, poodle) It is highly recommended that your puppy has an introduction to grooming schedule which is as follows: Ideally from 12 weeks old. Visits to the dog groomer every 4 weeks for 4 face, feet, bottom sessions (FFB) FFB sessions include: Bath Blow Dry Nail clip Ear cleaning Scissoring of face Scissoring of feet Clipping of bottom and hygiene area Lots of cuddles and play to make the visit lots of fun If your puppys fur is growing considerably quickly and you wish this to be trimmed please ask and this can be done at an extra cost. It is not recommended to clip off puppys fur until they are around 6 months old or until their fur changes from puppy fur to adult fur. Clipping the fur off too early will destroy its quality and you will never get the quality back. If you start your introduction to grooming schedule at 12 weeks old, by the last session you should be able to have them groomed any way you desire, plus you know that youve given your puppy the best chance of seeing their grooming visits as an exciting trip out. After completing the introduction to grooming schedule, depending on how you like your dog groomed and the breed of dog you have, the average time in between each groom is 6 8 weeks. Many factors can result in this length of time being shorter or longer but this can be discussed with you during your visits. My aim is to ensure your puppy has lots of fun during their visit and looks forward to coming back each time. 13.01.2022 Lincoln Moulting time is truly underway for Lincoln. All dogs, even ones that dont require clipping, benefit from regular visits to the groomer. Thankfully Lincoln is one of my regular boys.
