23.01.2022 Hi, I have never been to Bali (indonesia) which is a very popular tourist destination for Australian travellers. I get to know more about it through my customers who bring in wonderful canvas paintings for stretching from Balinese artists. It looks like there is nothing they cannot paint. Here are some of the wonderful works from Bali I enjoyed handling. A visit to Bali is definitely on my bucket list!!

15.01.2022 Hi All, It has been a while since I posted anything. Want to share today one of a few prints of my 2015 painting (Cover Drive - Sri Lanks's finest, 2015) which I got autographed by the great Sangakkara himself , after trying for a long time (just finished framing). Needless to say, I am thrilled have it. The original painting is 80x80 cm acrylic on canvas, painted after the last world cup. I have made prints (without autograph) for those who are interested, and a few autographed & framed prints are available for those die hard fans of Sanga - contact me for details..

14.01.2022 Hi everyone, it has been a while I posted something !!! But this time I have a legitimate excuse - I have been very busy lately getting ready for my first solo Art Exhibition in Mount Waverley on March 14-25. Details in the flyer. I hope FB friends who live in Melbourne would be able make it to the exhibition. Looking forward to see you all and I am excited and nervous too..

14.01.2022 Hi All, Today was a memorable day, personally for me. Recently I did an abstract painting of Richmond's AFL star Bachar Houli. His academy was interested in my work and today I took the painting to Richmond FC's home at Punt Road, Melbourne with my daughter Shamara and met the star himself! It was exciting to meet him in person, simple, humble and down to earth. The painting is on loan and to be hung in the academy's office at Richmond FC. Bachar generously signed a few prints for me as well as the painting itself. Hopefully my work will attract some interest

14.01.2022 It was wonderful to meet Richmond AFL star Bachar Houli yesterday at Punt Road ovel

14.01.2022 Hi All I have a few celebrity customers in my books. One of them is Anthony De Masi Melbourne magician. I have done several frames for him over the last few months mostly posters autographed by his friends (international Magicians). He brought a couple of cricket bats recently , signed by the teams when he entertained them during Boxing Day (Ashes) test in 2002. I decided to take a selfie at last for this post when he came over a few days ago to collect one of his prop wh...ich had to be reframed. This is his 5 star Google Review he posted: Very happy with the communication, great product, great value for money, excellent delivery on time set. I highly recommend his work, the job looks awesome If anyone interested in learning magic, Anthony runs a school in Melbourne (Magic school of Confidence - FB page: https://www.facebook.com/demasimagic) I am working on another celebritys canvas painting at the moment more about it later.

13.01.2022 Hi everyone! Just wanted to a give you a glimpse of some of the works that will be on display. Hope you like them!

12.01.2022 Hi, Here are some more Australian Aboriginal paintings which I have stretched and framed for my customers, painted in the "dot" style.

10.01.2022 Well done Bachar Houli & the Tigers for winning the AFL twice in 3 years

08.01.2022 Hi All, It was a pleasure to meet a very talented local artist Katie Banakh who wanted a few of her paintings framed for her forthcoming exhibition this Tuesday Nov 29th. She paints dreamscapes & nightmares and her her canvasses and canvas boards aren't very big and that is a challenge to frame such small sized artworks. But she is very pleased with the finished frames and appreciated the difference framing does to her artwork. Wishing her all the best with her exhibition and the details are below if anyone interested to attend.

07.01.2022 Did this unique double sided frame for an Essendon fan who wanted to be able to display either side of the footy top because it was autographed by the stars on both sides (which was a bit unusual!)

06.01.2022 Hi All, I was working on this large canvas (Stretching & Framing) for the Daltons who bought this beautiful painting from Bali. Australian friends who watch the show GOGGLEBOX Australia will know the Dalton family (the new series just started last Thursday on Ten). When I delivered the canvas, Kate Dalton kindly posed for a photo with their artwork at their home and also gave my work a 5 star review in Google. I have added another photo of the family (from the web) too.

06.01.2022 Hi All, after 40 years, the much loved The Highway Gallery at Mount Waverley is being closed at the end of this month. The Monash Council which owns the gallery has decided to sell the property against popular sentiment. So the friends of the Gallery which has run the gallery on voluntary basis decided to go on a high by having a Market day on th 15th Sept from 10-2 pm. If you are in Melbourne on that day, just pop in for a bit of a browse - A number of stalls will be there, with many selling artworks too. I am having an art stall too - if you want to check it out!!!! Address: The Highway Gallery The Highway, Mount Waverley, Vic.3149

06.01.2022 Hi All, The following canvasses are Aboriginal art from Australian Northern Territory. While majority of the Aboriginal paintings are "dot" type, there are other styles too. These stunning pieces are created by uniformly repeated simple strokes. These paintings were more than a meter on the longer side each - Big & Beautiful.

05.01.2022 Hi All, Sharing with you a photo from last nights opening of annual Art Exhibition at the Islamic Museum of Australia. My latest painting "STOPPING AT ALL STATIONS" - of Melbourne's iconic Flinders Street Station was shortlisted and made it to the exhibition. The exhibition runs from Today till 15th October 2018. This is the first time ever I submitted an entry and thrilled to have it on the show.

05.01.2022 Despite a quiet year with Covid 19, Picturesque is still in business while a number of small local businesses, sadly, have closed down. But overall the businesses are getting back to normal. Here are some of the work I have done recently

03.01.2022 Some of completed work during the past week:

02.01.2022 I have become too lazy to post on this page regularly. Hoping to change from now on!! I have done quite a few interesting works since I posted last time. Here is one for LEXUS of Brighton, - a cycling top, signed by the entire BMC of Switzerland team of TOUR De FRANCE 2017. The 5 star review put up in Google by Lexus of Brighton reads: "Fantastic, professional work with a fast-turnaround time. Thanks Mohammed, we will be back again to have more sporting memorabilia framed."

01.01.2022 Hi all, The pictures show one of the largest frame I did this year- an Australian flag, measuring approx 2x1 meter. This special Australian flag has flown on RAAF (Royal Australian Air Force) plane, which was presented to my customer and the frame contains the presentation certificate from RAAF too. A valuable possession of my customer, he duly mounted on the wall along the staircase of his beautiful house.
