18.01.2022 Following consultation with the Australian Funeral Directors Association, Piddingtons will incorporate the following measures into our business to combat the spread of COVID-19.* Piddingtons will continue to work with families, church groups, celebrants and the local community to ensure funeral services can be conducted safely and with the least amount of impact whilst adhering to the most updated health advice from our affiliated association and government directives.** With... gatherings in buildings, churches & chapels restricted to 100 people, we will be making provisions for sound systems to be set up outside venues or within secondary venues where available. We will also endeavour to record funeral services with the families permission for people that don’t feel comfortable to attend a service, a downloadable link will be available from Piddingtons following the service, please email [email protected] for more details. We encourage everyone to maintain appropriate social distancing measures at all times whilst at services, with antimicrobial hand gel available for your convenience requesting that the following steps be taken. 16.01.2022 The memorial service for the Late John Melbin Hamel to be held at the Armidale Uniting Church from 10:00am Monday, 23rd March 2020 has been postponed to a later date at the request of the family.
