21.01.2022 Today when on site to replace some halogen downlights to LED. We noticed a strange fault in the existing lights... When switched on they would pulse once and this would happen every time the light was switched on. First thought was that the dimmer had given up, but with no success there and after further inspection it was this transformer that was on its last legs. It was so close to letting go that the the high resistance was overloading the dimmer.... Now with the new LED downlights installed this customer will not have to worry about broken and overheating transformers in their roof space. All the while they will be saving money on their lighting bill!

19.01.2022 We were called out to a site because their point of sale system (Cash registers) wasn't wasn't working properly. When we checked the cabling this is what we found. This work was completed by an actual electrician that "knew how to do data cabling"

15.01.2022 We completed the original fitout for Sodexos head office a few years earlier. So when a bright spark decided to pressure wash the balcony above their server room and completely flood it they gave us a call. We arrived on site to complete chaos and over the next 3 days stripped down their server room and rebuilt the data cabinets and replaced the servers inside them. The first day was hectic for us and Sodexos staff but after that we managed to complete the rest of the job with minimal interruptions to their 100+ staff over the 2 floors.

14.01.2022 A client of ours bought this light fitting while visiting the United States because he thought he would look good over the main stair case. The problem with this light was that the wiring and fittings in the chandelier are wired for the US (110 volts), while in Australia everything has to be wired for 240V. During transport over here some of the arms on the fitting were damaged so they had to be repaired as well. We sent the light to a specialised repairer we know and after... a very stressful trip there and back we had a light that was fully compliant, repaired, cleaned and ready to be installed. The other issue we faced was the weight of the fully installed fitting being suspend from the ceiling. The limited access in the roof space above didnt help either. After we installed some extra bracing in the ceiling and with 2 people in the roof and 2 of us under it we slowly raised the fitting up to its final location and secured it in place. Once it was connected, and without any instructions or a photo of the complete fitting we started to piece back together the jigsaw puzzle that was this light. It took a while and we are pretty sure we got everything back to it was supposed to be. Fully installed it is an impressive light fitting that suited the age and style of the house perfectly. 09.01.2022 Electrical work completed by a handyman. This is why you use a licensed electrician. @ Berwick, Victoria

05.01.2022 Beefed up the power supply to this Tesla charger so it charges about 8 times faster than a standard outlet.

04.01.2022 Heres a fun install of a Nanoleaf modular and programmable wall light. As hard as it was to get it all mounted perfectly I think it was harder to decide on the arrangement. #nanoleaf #electrician #melbourne #LED
