23.01.2022 General Notice re COVID-19 A Team Member at Piedimontes Supermarket North Fitzroy is self-isolating after testing positive for COVID-19 after advising us on Friday the 31st of July. The Team Member last worked in the store on Sunday the 26st of July between the hours of 7:00 am and 7:00pm. On Friday 31st of July Piedimontes contacted the Victorian Department of Health and WorkSafe providing the details of this situation and were advised the Department of Health would be aw...are of the case and would be in touch. They advised us to continue with our Safe Hygiene practices which include Social Distancing, Washing and sanitising our hands regularly and wearing a face mask. We have followed the guidelines for a confirmed case set out by the Department of Health. The employee has following the appropriate Covid19 Hygiene practices and was also wearing a face mask while working behind a protective screen. We have identified any employees that have had Close Contact and they have been advised to get tested and self-isolate for 14 days. Piedimontes standard cleaning procedures comply with the Federal Governments Covid-19 Hygiene Practices for Supermarkets. As an added precaution Piedimontes has conducted an additional Thermal Fogging Total Disinfection (Deep Clean) of the store overnight on Tuesday (as part of regular practice) and again on advisement of this case on Friday the 31st of July.
