22.01.2022 Pier to Perignon 2016 Date The next Pier to Perignon will take place on Saturday 5th March 2016 starting at at approx 12:30pm at Sorrento Pier. We will keep you updated on the timing for entries soon. It's time to start your training and beat the winter blues.

The BOM are predicting offshore winds in the 10-15 knot range which will make for a smooth course as you follow the coast to from Sorrento to Portsea. 15.01.2022 This Sunday we are likely to witness the breaking of the P2P course record. We are excited to announce the participation of the Italian Swimmer, Gregorio Paltrinieri . Gregorio won Gold in the Rio Olympics and holds the Wold Record for Men's 1500 metre freestyle. His participation in the P2P is testament to the world class open water course we are naturally blessed with. Look out for Gregorio and welcome him to his first P2P.

12.01.2022 Congratulations to all swimmers who participated in the 2016 Pier to Perignon! We were blessed with perfect swimming conditions and it was wonderful to see so many smiling and exhausted faces at the finish line in Portsea. The first male swimmer, who also swam without a wetsuit was Sam Sheppard who swam a blistering 33: 53 followed by Rob McManus with a 36:40 swim time... The first female swimmer was Georgia Stott with a fast 38:42 and second place ( no wetsuit ) was Ellen Gandy 39:47. An album with a collection of photos of the event will be available soon.

The Portsea Swim Classic is one of the largest open water swims held in Australia and finishes at the picturesque old quarantine station. The Portsea Swim Classic is one of the largest open water swims held in Australia and this year introduces a new challenge, The Portsea Swim Classic - "Gold", a brand new 2,500m Open Water swim challenge. Entries for the Portsea Swim Classic - "Gold" are strictly limited to 200 competitors and will sell out fast.
