19.01.2022 Myself and four mates own a little second hand bookshop. We have a lovely community of artists, authors, performers and regular job people as our staunch custom...er base, but we know that we're about to hit some really rough times as everyone who supports us are losing their jobs, hand over fist. Of our five owners, three of us are employed in the Arts and just had our next 3-6 months worth of employment wiped. Literally, every gig on every night pulled. Today, our real estate agent popped in to let us know that the landlord told him to drop out rent by 30% for the next 3 months. I almost cried. He has no idea what a life line he's just thrown us, we were going to be in deep shit for sure! #abletokeepstaff #abletomakerentnow
