24.01.2022 REOPENING - Yes its true!! We are back and reopening the studio on Saturday, 13 June. Get your trim, toned and taunt pre iso body back and book your class today!!! We cant wait to see you back in the studio

24.01.2022 UPDATE - Great news from the Queensland Government yesterday in that we can reopen the studio a little earlier than expected. We still need to get our reformers back and do the required clean of the machines prior to being able to open. We also need to check and make sure our staff are available to start a week earlier We will keep you updated on a new reopening date. In the interim period, keep booking in your classes for the week commencing 13 June!!!... Thank you so much for your continuing support of the studio and well see you again really soon!!!

22.01.2022 CHANGE YOUR PILATES DAY- We all know that Friday morning in the studio is crazy busy and its going to be even harder to get into classes with the reduction in reformer numbers!! So instead of missing out, why not try to change your routine during the week...if you are just coming out of iso NOW is the time to organise that change. Plan a different morning to go for your pilates and coffee with a friend...try a Thursday morning instead for example or even look to doing ...an afternoon class or weekend class. After all, change is as good as a holiday (so they say!!!) Well see you in the studio soon See more

21.01.2022 EXHALE - As you exhale breath in your online mat pilates classes focus on exhaling through the mouth, closing your rib cage and flattening the tummy towards your spine. Even lay on your back for a few minutes before you commence your class and practice your breathing!!

21.01.2022 SUNDAY FUNDAY - Need an extra little bit of pampering/mental restoration after a super long week?? Here are a few ideas to help you relax but also achieve a little something as well. 1. Sleep in for an hour... 2. Do some baking (banana bread for me...happy to accept it at the studio on Monday ) 3. Complete a chore (30 min max time) that you have been putting off for ages 4. Pamper yourself with a Pilates class at either 7.30am or 8.30am, go for a walk in the park, watch a movie or I HAVE IT...get the kids babysat for 3 hours so you and your partner can go for a date lunch Organise it for next weekend

16.01.2022 WATER-TO-ALCOHOL - Hands up if being stuck indoors has led to a few sneaky extra glasses of wine each night! Im exactly the same so no judgement here!!! Try to limit your alcohol to just the weekend if you can. Consuming alcohol increases fat accumulation, the risk of type 2 diabetes and elevated cholesterol. Also make sure you have at least 2L of water daily. If you need to make it not such a chore to drink your water, then add some lemon for a little extra taste sensation.

10.01.2022 LEARN TO RUN - If you are looking to start a running program as a form of exercise during iso then here are a few tips!! Always warm up with 5 minutes of walking and some lower body stretches before starting. Start by jogging for 1 minute and walking for 1 minute and gradually increase this to jogging for 2 minutes and walking for 1 minute, jogging for 3 minutes and walking for 1 minute and so on...... Try to aim for 20 minutes at the beginning and increase up to 40 minutes over time

Use the abdominal muscles to draw the back of the rib cage and lower back slightly towards the floor.
