We are so proud of Jess and wish her all the best in her future endeavours and know she will kill it (this girl is phenomenal at everything she sets her mind too!) . 11.01.2022 New Trainer Alert . We are super excited to welcome Cass to our team Cass started with TPS as a client as founding member when we first opened our doors. She has been rigorously doing 3x classes a week with us and quickly became a Pilates Fanatic and weapon (the things this girl can do on the reformer ). We could clearly see how much Cass LOVED Pilates so after a lot of badgering from us for her to get qualified and join our team Cass finally took the plunge! What’s your favourite reformer exercise to do? Any kind of abs! It's a toss up between a teaser and a snake! . What can we expect from one of your classes? I am most excited to help clients enjoy movement and feel amazing! I love that Pilates is inclusive and suitable for every body. I am excited to help others also find a passion for Pilates! . Why / how did you fall in love with Pilates? Or why do you love Pilates? Pre-Pilates I was doing a lot of gym and HIIT workouts and I was always getting injured and started to build a lot of muscle. 09.01.2022 Trainer tip for using the STRAPS in class . Find your carriage moving up and down the rails like a bumpy race car? You might need to slow it down. You want to move the straps at an even controlled pace so they never go slack and sloppy. This will not only help you keep your balance on the reformer (especially when kneeling) but you will also work your muscles harder as they will be loaded under spring tensions for longer! (Gotta love that)

04.01.2022 New instructor alert . We are super excited to welcome Martina to the TPS team . You might recognise Martina as one of our beautiful clients at the studio. She first found her love for Pilates when we opened the doors of our OG Newy east studio in 2018. She quickly became hooked on Reformer Pilates and signed up as founding member After falling in love with Pilates and our studio, Martina decided to turn her passion into a career and recently just finished her @breath...e.education certificate IV. . We asked Martina a few questions so you can get to know her better What’s your favourite reformer exercise to do? I love any kind of plank variation as it works your whole body . What can we expect from one of your classes? A dynamic Reformer workout that will make you feel the burn every time . What are you most excited about becoming an instructor at TPS? As an instructor I love the smiles, positive energy and attitude clients have after a great workout. You can see how amazing, confident, strong and happy Pilates makes people feel and that’s what I love most about it . How did you fall in love with Pilates? I fell in love with Pilates the first time I tried it and haven’t looked back ever since. I love the way it makes me feel physically and mentally. I have never felt stronger and fitter since finding Pilates Fave playlist to workout too? RNB What are so fun facts about you? I am originally from Austria and moved to Australia five years ago. I have got a career in Marketing, and have decided to also follow my passion for Pilates to become a Pilates instructor on the days I am not in the office. It’s about time we officially welcome Mariah to our Facebook fam you might have been lucky enough to already do one of Mariah’s killer, slow burn classes which are known for leaving your muscles shaking long after you have left the studio. Anything booty related . What can we expect from one of your classes? Expect to push yourself, hopefully have a laugh and finish class proud of yourself . What are you most excited about becoming an instructor at TPS? I'm just grateful to be apart of the team and get to know the beautiful Pilates Space community! I look forward to challenging clients through their love of pilates, inspring them to come back wanting more . Why / how did you fall in love with Pilates? Pilates has been a part of my life from a young age. It was a form of cross training for my 10 years playing volleyball. I love that it is a low impact form of moving your body that burns and gets results no matter what age or stage of life . Fav playlist to workout too? Ohhh so hard to say. Any hip hop/RnB makes me want to boogie . fun facts about Mariah- When I’m not teaching you’ll find me surfing or near the ocean in any capacity. I’m originally from California and grew up playing Junior Olympic/NCAA Volleyball. When I moved to Australia, I completed a degree in fashion and then worked in fashion, advertising and TV in Sydney. I taught pilates and yoga part time before I made the official switch to full time teaching and have never looked back. See more
