09.01.2022 Pilates tidbit. In yesterday's class we spent 20 mins doing a range of exercises just to get our backs, hips and abs ready for a Pilates Roll Up and then the delight that is Teaser. Both of these are challenging exercises but thankfully we can do about 4000 modifications before doing the full maneuver! This is something I love about Pilates - you can have a great challenging move in mind but be able to work your way up to it in a way that is safe and still challenging, with...out leaving you feeling incompetent and annoyed. And you don't need to know the names of the moves or all the work that needs to be done in a warm up to get you there... That's what I'm here for!
