15.01.2022 When you realise you slept in and havent eaten breakfast or lunch... (Im a never miss a meal kind of girl!) Raided the fridge for something quick, and realised we happened to have some of my favourite foods. Cos lettuce, cucumber, red capsicum, celery, figs, prosciutto, halloumi and pine nuts, with olive oil and golden caramelised balsamic vinegar. Sooo good!

13.01.2022 Why am I so passionate about Pilates? After years of chronic pain, and wondering if Id be able to handle getting pregnant and caring for a baby, I am now pain free, and a mother to two beautiful little girls, and pregnant with my third child. Im able to get down on the floor, carry my heavy toddler, and do all the fun Mummy things, without having to worry about how much pain Ill be in the next day, or crying myself to sleep!... Ive also found Pilates great for maintaining strength during pregnancy and regaining my per-pregnancy body, and I have much better bladder control too! 08.01.2022 Why I love Pilates 3 kids in, youngest is 12 weeks, and theres a hint of a six pack there. After having Kaitlyn, the midwife was very concerned about diastasis recti. (Mind you, this was mere hours after birth). Im now only a 1 finger gap in my abs, which is less than I had after my other bubs. ... Its incredible the difference Pilates, and correct technique have made in this pregnancy. I feel strong and fit, this was my best Birth ever (only two contractions to push her out, despite how big she was!), and I love that I have the strength, energy and mobility to be able to kid-wrangle my three beautiful girls. 03.01.2022 Happy New Year! Whos keen to get fit this year? My personal goals is to continue to use Pilates to support my posture as my pregnant belly expands (16 weeks pregnant!!!), and avoid the pains associated with SPD and SIJ Dysfunction (unstable hips and pelvis, due to pregnancy hormones relaxing the ligaments in the hip and pelvis). Ive personally found pilates to be very effective for this!
02.01.2022 Time for another reasons I love Pilates post I participated in the Miss Muddy run on the weekend, less than 4 months postpartum. I was able to complete every obstacle, with only the normal muscle soreness, no bad pain, and full bladder control. Before Pilates, I wouldnt have even been able to complete the walking parts of it, let alone the obstacles, without crippling hip, knee and back pain. ... I love the freedom that Pilates has given me to enjoy life and be able to push my body, and have fun! See more
