05.01.2022 The Pilbara RYDE (Regional Youth Driver Education) Program is coming in 2021. The RYDE program has run successfully across WA, and is reliant on Volunteer Driving Mentors providing support to young people 16-25 years to complete their required 50 hours of supervised driving, in their journey to obtaining a driver’s licence. Driving Mentors offer supervised driving hours, not lessons, together with valuable experience, skills, positive attitudes and develop confidence in navigating roads safely.
