25.01.2022 This is the photo used for the front cover of the 2016 edition od the Guide.

23.01.2022 Recently the price of the Guide was reduced to $34 and the cost of postage reduced to $6. This was a result of a win with AusPost as the wire bound Guide can fit the 'large letter' requirements, rather than being a 'small parcel'. Feedback is saying that the wire bound Guide is much more user friendly. The website is being upgraded and should be live by the end of October. Payment by credit card via PayPal will be possible.

22.01.2022 The iBooks version from Apple's iBooks Store is no longer available. It reached a point of stupidity recently where we sent a $1 cheque to the Government for GST. By contrast, the PDF version and the hard copy book, both obtainableable from the PTG website, are selling well (no GST). Best of all is the version of the Guide that comes with a subscription to OzRunways or RWY ... Ian Barraclough, Editor

09.01.2022 The 2016 edition will be available about the end of March. It will be loaded into the OzRunways app first, then the web page: www.pilotstouringguide.com.au will be updated so the 2016 PDF version can be downloaded. The new feature is that the hard copy book will be wire bound so this it opens flat. A tad more expensive and AusPost will charge more! ... Ian Barraclough, Editor.

08.01.2022 Version 4.2 of the 2014 (or fourth edition) is now available in hard copy, from Apple's iBooks Store and as a downloadable PDF from www.pilotstouringguide.com.au. The 4.2 version will shortly be available through OzRunways and RWY ... Ian Barraclough, Editor

07.01.2022 The 2016 edition of the Guide is available. It is wire bound and does open flat; it really is more user friendly. This edition continues the practice of removing some of the destinations which have attracted little or no interest and adding new destinations - all recommended by touring pilots. The cover of the new edition is an aerial view of The Old Station at Raglan in QLD, taken by Shelley Ross (an Old Station enthusiast and keen touring pilot). The easiest way to orde...r the hard copy Guide or to download the PDF version, is to visit www.pilotstouringguide.com.au and go to the bottom of the page. The 2016 edition and the revised PTG map will be loaded into OzRunways at their next update.
