The coastal strawberry season is in full swing now and will continue onto around October, when the Stanthorpe season will take over.We are... lucky enough to get our berries from the charismatic and talented Pim Men who is very happy with the quality of the strawberries right now. The dry weather is helping, but her berries are always some of the best around. There is no rushing their growth, Pim uses an organic fertigation mix developed by herself and her husband Edwin. The result is great taste and firm flesh, no rotting strawberries on the bottom of the punnet! The variety is called Red Rhapsody, developed in the Redlands to suit Queensland conditions. See more
