24.01.2022 Space Cadet, which came pre-installed with every Microsoft Windows XP computer, was actually a demo for a full virtual pinball game which included extra features such as multiball and a couple other pinball playfields. I never knew it was a demo... Did you know this?? Does that mean maybe Minesweeper or Solitaire that also came pre-installed with Windows were also just a demo for a more complex game? #Maxis #cinematronics #SpaceCadet #Microsoft #WindowsXP

12.01.2022 Victoria, we have made it through some tough restrictions! Its now been 2 WEEKS of ZERO new cases of COVID!! It's amazing to see parts of Victoria are now starting to reopen. Due to some restrictions still in place, we currently are not able to have any of our pinball machines available to be played, therefore we are not open yet. We are heading in the right direction, restrictions are continuing to lift.... We will be open in early December - exact date to be announced - but will be ready for the holiday season! Depending on the restrictions at the time of opening, it most likely will be a booking only system for visiting, not completely open for anyone to walk in off the street. See more

02.01.2022 Out with the old magazine viewer, in with the new modern touchscreen. When COVID restrictions ease and we are able to open up again, our magazine archives will now be viewable on this huge screen. (It's lucky we have the touchscreen now, when I set up the old unit for this video it refused to boot! Won't have to fix it now)

01.01.2022 2020 pinball high scores. Take on the 31st of December 2020. Is your name up there? Were you lucky enough to play our games during the couple of months we were allowed to be open in 2020? http://pinballmuseum.com.au/?p=Highscores-2020

01.01.2022 When can we open?? Since regional VIC had some restrictions lifted we've received many emails and calls asking if we are now open, so we'll address this here: At the current restriction level we cannot be open.... If you look at the state governments Re-Opening Roadmap, we can start to open up when regional Victoria reaches the "Last Step". BUT note: Even though we can open when the "last step" is reached, there are still many restrictions and we wont be operating "as normal". For instance there will be caps on the number of visitors and we will probably have to run it on a booking only basis - just like we did in the weeks before we had to close back in March. It will all depend on the current health advise and restrictions at that time, which of course could change. When do we reach the "Last Step"? The website states "when there are no new cases for 14 days". Up until yesterday it also stated "after November 28", that date has now been removed so we can only hope it may occur earlier given that we have reached some other steps earlier than the original date. Be patient, stay safe, we will open up again soon. As much as we'd love to be able to open up as soon as possible, we also don't want re-opening to be rushed, no one would want to close again after only a few weeks. It is exciting to think that we could be opening up again soon!
