18.01.2022 We’ve only had the one review on Airbnb so far but it was a 5. We’d like to share what Alison and family said. What an amazing place to stay. Whether for the weekend or a bit longer. The hosts: Simon and Sarah are two of the friendliest and loveliest people you will ever meet. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived and all throughout our stay. The accomodation: The lodge was very very clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything you could need for your adventure aw...ay from home. The beds were comfortable. The living space was roomy and the bathroom whilst not big was everything we needed for our family of four. The balcony was great for eating our meals and watching the ducks run by. We even had a visit from a rabbit and a frog!!! At night the campfire was perfect for roasting our complementary marshmallows!!!!!! The activities: There is a box of games for everyone’s use for all ages and sizes. There were even a few toys inside for the kids to play with. The highlight without a doubt is the animal feedings morning and night. Sarah and Simon’s passion for their animals was much felt. And the joy they brought to our children will be long remembered. It was exciting to see not just chickens, horses and cows but also donkeys, goats, alpacas, geese and a Shetland Pony. Simon and Sarah were very patient with our kids to give them time to spend with the animals at their pace. Overall: We felt at home from the moment we arrived. And our little man wants to know when we can go back to the green house l!!! All in all we will be back many times to make more precious memories. Thank you Simon and Sarah
