24.01.2022 Well.... that about sums it up!!! Thrilled to see the return of onsite production in Melbourne! The mighty poo crew together again!

23.01.2022 Lovely surprise! Thanks Bayside Leader

22.01.2022 We are bursting with pride to be shortlisted in the Melbourne Awards (City of Melbourne) community category for our contribution to Melbourne during COVID and beyond! As part of this judging process we had to make a presentation to the panel to give them a greater understanding of not just our work- but our team, supporters, culture and heartbeat. A tribute to our team x ... I’m so thrilled to share this very moving 3 minutes with you and hope it moves you the way it does us! Let us know your thoughts and we will keep you posted on our progress!!!!

19.01.2022 Great to see 10,000 of our personal hygiene packs being distributed by our friends at BANH Neighbourhood Houses to all those in public housing across metro Melbourne. Access to items such as soap has never been more important in our epic fight against the COVID monster.

15.01.2022 Only 60 tickets left and if you (our mighty poo crew) can help- that’s $6000 to us!!!!!! Go go goooooo!!!!!

13.01.2022 There are no words for our volunteers. None.... but I’ll try. During covid lockdown stage 4- around 40 of our team have set up there houses to keep production safely going offsite. Tonight Mother Nature served it up and many have lost power- but nothing can extinguish the fire in the heart to help others. Candles lit, wine poured and it’s still go go go! I’ll never be able thank our mighty poo crew enough for helping us help tens of thousands through this unprecedented time.

12.01.2022 We need to talk. Seriously. For almost 12 years we have been fighting to shine a much needed light of the topic of personal hygiene essentials access... for men, woman and children. During COVID we have heard endless media outlets report food poverty, digital poverty and period poverty (I’ll get to this one later). No once have we heard the term hygiene poverty.... yes... even in a worldwide pandemic, we are still not talking about personal hygiene products being ‘essential’.... Not even soap! In the last few days our partners at both Vinnies Victoria and Foodbank Victoria have reported astonishing and highly distressing statistics that 1 in 6 victorians are now experiencing food insecurity. When you have to feed your family, fill bellies... what are the first items to be left out of supermarket trolleys? Highly priced personal hygiene products. Therefor these food poverty stats directly relate to hygiene poverty. No funding for this, air time, limelight ... nothing. Are we ashamed of this issue as Australians? In searching hashtags this week- period poverty came up with 60k plus posts, hygiene poverty - fewer than 100. Period poverty in food terms is like saying ‘banana poverty’. It’s only a piece of a pie. Pads/tampons are not the only items left out of trolleys- dental care, hair care and deodorants are also. Going without these products deeply affects our physical and mental well being and inhibits the way in which we connect with the world around us. SELF WORTH. Pinchapoo have provided for over 150,000 people during covid (like Foodbank and many of our other amazing partners) and while we don’t hear ‘hygiene poverty’ much or see the funding- we are about to. 2021 is the year our government starts to invest in this concept, own the issue and work with us to deploy holitistic hygiene solutions and boy will we kick and scream till they do. Investing in part of the problem doesn’t solve the problem. Pouring millions into pulling people out of the river- when we could stop so many from jumping in. We thank our 550 plus national partners for seeing the importance our service provides to those they are supporting in need. So let’s say it together poo crew, help us spread this message and get it to our government and media!! #hygienepoverty Social Arena Design

10.01.2022 When the going gets tough...... It’s been the greatest feat to meet the demand we have been faced with during COVID, to say yes to every single request for help during a time when poo can’t be pinched and we have had to spend every cent we have in order to do so.....but we’ve done it and will continue to as we (all of us) are the mighty poo crew! Our team have achieved this all working offsite keeping themselves and fellow victorians safe and clean! Pride OVERLOAD! If y...ou can donate money or product- awesome! www.pinchapoo.org.au If you can like the post - awesome too! This helps us spread the word! I thank everyone of you for allowing us to do the magical work we are privileged to do x See more

02.01.2022 POO MANTRA Always practice kindness and lead with a pure heart full of pure intensions- never be steered or motivated by your ego or for self gratification.

02.01.2022 There has only been two times I’ve had a little quiver in my voice promoting our mission. The first was in front of 5000 worldwide hotel group representatives at an international conference where I had to explain we were robbing them and today as we met with the Queensland Police Service We are thrilled to be partnering state wide to contribute to the work being done by the domestic violence first responders units and education programs as well as helping to support yout...h being put into state care, Brisbane homelessness tasks force and more! Thrilled to see QPS seeing the importance personal hygiene access has for men and women in crisis and how this self worth is often the first important step to be taken on a rehabilitation journey of any kind. For those of you in Qld- stand by for more details on how you can become involved in this partnership on the ground! More details to come!
