08.01.2022 Time for a clean out! Might as well...I’ve got a great sweeper!

08.01.2022 Spring is a lovely time. Lots of grass this year as our efforts to reduce weeds, condition the soil and encourage a mix of grasses/herbs to our paddocks are paying off. The kookaburras and lizards are out and about now too!

08.01.2022 My latest blog about dung beetles and horse wormers. Designed to be a helpful guide to wormers and their effects on dung beetles.

08.01.2022 We have spotted a few predatory birds over the past week at Pine Hill. A Southern Boobook owl swooped past is as we were fitting on the verandah having a sundowner last night and caught a moth on the wing - amazing! We’ve had both a Brown Falcon and a Letter-Wing Kite move in, too. Watching them hunt over our rabbit warrens is awesome. And the Wedgetail Eagles are back, as you can see in the video. I can’t quite make out the bird getting grumpy with one - could be a Brown Falcon? Anyone know?

08.01.2022 A beautiful day

08.01.2022 Another stunning spring morning after some rain.

05.01.2022 Thought it would snow yesterday but no luck. Still absolutely freezing! A max of 6!

01.01.2022 An amazing sunset last night. The property is really starting to come together and the view doesn’t suck.
