24.01.2022 Hi Mums and Dads. I thought that next Wednesday I would love to take the kids to a Teddy Bears Picnic at the park. It sounds like lots of fun!

23.01.2022 We are slowly getting back to normal. We had a great time today exploring the ocean play area set up for world ocean day. We read Mr seahorse by Eric Carle. As well as creating some great art rocks. Agate mostly with our wonderful coloured papers. We played outside on the trampoline, walked and climbed in the garden, smelt the lavender. The children loved our new shell x rays and enjoyed a new felt story called Tiddlick.

19.01.2022 Bush knowing today. Ow the amazing resources and time that goes into the set up just makes our morning such fun! Dancing, water play, hill sliding, measuring just to name a few.

14.01.2022 Unfortunately there is no Bush Kindy tomorrow as Jo is unwell.

12.01.2022 Welcome Helena!! . We have had a great morning introducing you to all our favourite things to do inside. We have had tea parties, sang songs, read books, built roads, towers and played in the rice. There was painting and drawing as well as posting letters. Everyone showed Helena how we clean the table Before a meal. She was super keen to join in with everything and had a great time making new friends. We can’t wait to play again tomorrow. ( We took a look at the Christmas decorations in the front yard this morning on the way to school.) .

11.01.2022 Back to bush knowing we go. It was such a lovely day to be on an adventure to see Jo. The children were very excited to be back in our nature spot! We spent a lot of time on the cubby house building and collecting sticks to add before we went to the creek! It was a climbing challenge as we didn’t want to get too wet as the water was quite cold. We had to climb all the way around the embankment. A natural obstacle cause. The children needed to use their knowledge of holding ...on and climbing over and under they needed to make decisions about the best and safest place to cross. They also had to listen to their bodies. Am I safe. Is this a safe risk. Is it too risky. Do I need help. After all that thinking and problem solving and persistence we made it to the water! Clay was the play choice on todays adventure. I reminded Jo of our adventures to the creek and the children remembered the clay too. Off they went looking for some to scoop into their hands. Primrose was in first squeezing and squishing It in her hands. Soon we all had some and we found lots of uses for it. Darcy made a ball before painting his face. The others soon followed. We patted it on rocks and threw it on the ground. We also enjoyed watching the water turn grey as we washed it off our hands. I think the pictures tell the rest of the fun.

11.01.2022 Wow! So blessed to take care of all my wonderful children and their families. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for my nomination for educator of the year. . I love my job and caring for your children and watching them grow

09.01.2022 We love having play dates with Miss Tracey. It is a great opportunity for the children to interact in a new environment and with different children and educators. Wonderful social interactions occur when children need to problem solve and negotiate with new children. We are also learning about sharing, taking turns in a larger group setting. For educators it is a great networking opportunity and gives us great inspiration by looking and reflecting on things we may have misse...d or interests we have not explored. Today we enjoyed small world play with the tree houses. This sparked some co operative play and important opportunities to negotiate play spaces. We enjoyed some Halloween themed art that we brought to share with our friends. Before lunch we enjoyed water play that was focused on find motor development and science of water properties and colour mixing!! Fun morning See more

08.01.2022 Our Christmas activities have begun! Can’t believe we are 4 weeks until Christmas . We have set up Santa’s workshops and used tools to make toys for the children. We are exploring stocking and what might go inside them. Coloured red and green rice has been a favourite today with figurines and Christmas themed Pom Poms. Creating a wreath with Christmas decorations and other loose parts has sparked some interest in signing jingle bells a lot . Outside we enjoyed the obs...tacle courses, bikes, tunnels and sweeping. Jesse had fun playing with lots of cars and then making ramp roads to put them down. Darcy was in charge of watering the grass and made lots, and lots of rain from the watering can. We painted usu g the easel and shared our knowledge of colours with our friends. Before lunch. we sang jingle bells with tambourines and read Dear Santa. Darcy showed us his skills with the alphabet. 07.01.2022 Another beautiful morning of fun, friends and play. Inside we broke into dance with music. ..... you guessed it. The Wiggles. . Showing off our dance moves we danced and sang. We looked more at the Aboriginal flag and talked about the colours and what they represent. We all got to paint a flag. As we walked home from school we also looked at the Australian flag flying on a pole. We also talked about it’s coloyrs and significance. outside Jesse had grand plans to sail t...he boat of insects and Aurora was keen to find some dinosaurs. We played with water. What else would we do on these lovely sunny days. . It is so beautiful and heart warming for me as an educator see them each make progress with their learning, understanding, friendships and willingness to try new things. They make me laugh each day. Best job ever . See more
