The frustration at not knowing what to do next or where to start building resiliency in your own food security and home economics can be overwhelming. The solution however can be found in your front yard.... Hosted by the Millicent and Surrounds Food Network and Pine Lime Designs the first round of the Victory Verge challenge starts 01 May 2020 to 31 May 2020. Guidelines for the Challenge - Submit your photos before the last day of the month for each round - Please include a share-box for when your Victory Verge has excess fresh produce - Please allow some of your plants to grow old so that their seeds can be saved and shared - And for the most delicious fruit and veg let’s keep it free from unnecessary chemicals Not sure what a Victory Garden is? Victory Gardens, also called "war gardens" or "food gardens for defense", were gardens planted both at private residences and on public land during World War I and World War II to reduce the pressure on the public food supply as a result of the war effort.
