20.01.2022 It’s that time of year - weather is getting warmer and the bees are out swarming too! At the moment we have around 600 beehives that we are buzzy (oops I mean busy) tending to our hives and bees. If you have a swarm that you need collected, give the council a call - they have a list of people who maybe able to help you out.

18.01.2022 Our little contribution to the hamper for Four Reasons Why - being raffles at the Apple Farm on the 22nd of December A 1kg tub of local Pine Ridge Honey, and a pack of beeswax wraps (1 sml, 1 med, 1 large), total retail value of over $50. We love being able to support our local community!

18.01.2022 Wow - this covid-19 virus is having a massive impact on everyone! Just a little update from Pine Ridge Honey - we are currently still stocking She's Apples with our delicious regular, local honey! They are taking regular deliveries of our fresh local honey! Unfortunately due to the virus - and the uncertainty around how long these restrictions will last for, at this stage we don't think our Annual Honey Bee Breakfast Event will go ahead this year. We like to start planning e...arly for this event, but due to uncertainty in regards to schools (closures, attendance, social distancing etc) this is not possible. However be assured that next year we will plan and run the biggest and best Honey Bee Breakfast Event yet! We also will not be taking bookings for any educational visits at this stage either. For those who have already tentatively (or otherwise) booked visits in - during Term 3 and/or 4 - we will make decisions on this as the time gets closer. 07.01.2022 We welcomed Akuna Kindy and St Martins Kindy children to our Honey Bee Breakfast this morning at the Limestone Coast Pantry! Tasting honey, drawing bee front panels for a traditional Slovenia bee hive house... lots of fun! :-)

06.01.2022 Today our Honey Bee Breakfast kicks off at the Limestone Coast Pantry! We look froward to welcoming Allendale East, junior primary classes and Yahl year 6/7 class, to come on a bee keeping journey through Slovenia with us!
