24.01.2022 COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT ALL WAREHOUSE CRICKET FIXTURES CANCELLED FOR WEEKEND OF 9 & 10 JANUARY... The State Govt has ordered a COMPLETE LOCKDOWN (other than for the 4 essential reasons) from 6.00pm (today) Friday to 6.00pm on Monday 11th January. MASKS MUST BE WORN IF LEAVING HOME AFTTER 6.00PM TODAY. Warehouse Cricketers will no doubt do our part to keep this Lockdown brief and successful.

24.01.2022 Due to the current covid restrictions we have made the unfortunate decision to postpone the traditional old boys game until later in the year. Hopefully in the not to distant future, we will be able to host our annual old boys day which is always a massive occasion for the club. Information will come out soon regarding the restrictions and requirements for the season ahead. Like everywhere, we will need to adapt and make the most of the situation we are all in.

22.01.2022 With September 26 fast approaching now is the time to get fit and firing for the upcoming summer season. Pre-season training will begin this Wednesday 19/08 at 5:00pm. Samples for this seasons kit included within registration (playing shirt & club polo) in addition to optional extras (training shirt/shorts) will also be available to try on for sizing. We hope to see as many old and new faces as possible.

22.01.2022 Only four days remain for early registrations through PlayCricket (https://www.playcricket.com.au/club-finder/club-details) or via a payment plan. Registration prior to 11/09 is required to be included in this Fridays kit order. If you are interested in purchasing any additional kit, including the training shirt/short you must notify the club prior to this Friday. Please note that the order this Friday will be the only order of the training kit for this season. We have had great numbers down at training already but as a reminder, pre-season training is to continue running each Wednesday, beginning at 5:00 pm.

19.01.2022 Great piece of news to start your week....training is returning this Wednesday night! 2x training sessions will be held until further notice in-line with the current Government restrictions. Hand sanitizer will be available, there will be no sharing of equipment & 1x ball per player - if you have your own ball please bring it along to roll the arm over. Andy will also be keeping an attendance register. There will be 5 people per net during both sessions. The 1st session will ...be 5pm-6pm & the 2nd session will be 6:15pm-7:15pm. If you havent already, please update or create an account with our TeamApp page, news etc. will be published before most of our Facebook posts & you will receive an immediate notification. It also allows us to keep track of a range of things (even without COVID-19). 17.01.2022 Pine Rivers Cricket Club is pleased to announce Adam Breen as the A1 captain for the upcoming season. Adam took on the role in 2019, and has showed great determination and leadership over the previous 12 months and is sure to continue to excel in the role. Nominations for captaincy in all other teams is now open for the upcoming season. 15.01.2022 A small attendance at this years AGM, with a reduction in numbers allowed due Covid-19. The previous committee was thanked for their efforts over the last 12 months before the new committee was introduced after nominations. The 2021 committee was voted in as below. Vice President - Andrew Foster General Committee - Wendell Foster Dominic Window Kieran Radcliffe Adam Breen Along with the new committee being passed in, the attendees were notified that our very own Dominic Window had received a Qld Cricket award for Volunteer of the Month. Dominic has been a big part of Pine Rivers for a number of years now and has tirelessly contributed to the growing junior sides. More news on this award will be announced over the coming weeks.

14.01.2022 Some exciting Junior Cricket news! In 2020/21 Pine Rivers have partnered with The Lakes Cricket Club for the Junior cricket season. This partnership will see: - The Lakes Cricket Club utilising (where required) the Pine Rivers Cricket Club facilities for game days and training;... - Pine Rivers Junior and Masters Blasters heading to The Lakes Cricket Club facilities for the Blasters cricket; and - A direct pathway for the older Junior Lakes cricketers to transition into Womens/Mens cricket at Pine Rivers Cricket Club Pine Rivers Cricket very own Dominic Window will still play a large part with juniors, so any enquiries regarding the upcoming season please message Dominic on the Facebook page or alternatively email at [email protected]. 11.01.2022 Summer cricket is just around the corner so here are some big dates to save into your calendar. Registration is set to open by the end of the week with summer training beginning from next week. Training will be every Wednesday and starts at 5:15pm. A1 will hold their training match Sunday, August 23 at Marchant Park, beginning from 10:00am. An open training day will also be held on Saturday 5 September at our home ground, beginning at 10:30am. ... Everybodys favourite event the Old Boys Game will be held on September 12, time TBA. There are lots to get through before the season kicks off on September 26 and we hope to see many returning and new players start getting down to the club to get ready for another big season.

07.01.2022 Training will be on this evening however will look a little different for the next couple of weeks. - There will be a maximum number of people per net at once, those in the nets will be required to safely distance and stay 1.5 metres away from one another at all times - Handwash will be available... - If you have your own ball, it is advised to use this and not share with others - If you do not sign in, you will not be able to train - Qld Health advise you must carry a face mask on you when leaving your residence, so while it isn't required while training you will be required to have one at all times - Pine Rivers Cricket have a covid safe plan in place and will be following all Qld Health guidelines, please be patient over the next few weeks as we get through this together.

To receive the Playing Shirt and Club Polo prior to Round 1, registration must be completed by the end of today. The second round of apparel orders will be made on 11/09, in time for Round 2. Orders for training kit will also be made on this date, however, more information regarding pricing and how to order will be announced in the coming days. As a reminder, pre-season training is set to continue running each Wednesday, beginning at 5:00 PM.
