25.01.2022 Friday 29 July.... HOME GAME 7.30pm Pensionsers v Wests at Home. Please note that all Pensioner games either home or away all persons who turn up wanting to play with us have to pay their $10.00... there will be no exceptions.... Any player who is invited to play by a fellow pensioner (because we are short on numbers) will not have to pay the ten dollars although this player must be sanctioned by the president of the treasurer prior to the game. I will not have our paid registered players standing on the sidelines while we have ring-ins running around taking their place Looking forward to seeing you all this Friday night. Steve

14.01.2022 Pensioners playing Redcliffe this Friday night at Redcliffe...see you all there

13.01.2022 Last night saw the Pensioners return to the field since the start of the year. There was much excitement and we invited the local Caboolture and Redcliffe boys to share in this moment. Pensioners were bolstered by a few new interested players, some turning up for their first rugby game for over 6 years. I thank these boys and hope they enjoyed Golden Oldies rugby, I hope to see them sticking around into the future. Game was played in great spirit, though somewhat lopsided wit...h the backs and forwards. Near the whole pensioners team was made up of backs, which played to our strengths of fast running and fancy ball play. Our opponents were made up of a big forward pack that used this to their advantage, running hard up the middle. Thanks to Ricci and the Caboolture boys, as-well as Nigel and the Redcliffe boys, and a couple of others from Wests I believe. Thanks to Blake for being cook and barman. Thanks to Anthony for being ref, though he had not done it before, he had to listen to a fair bit of verbal dribble. Thanks to Amanda and Nicole from the Pumas for sticking around and supporting us. And a final thanks to Tim and Dylan for doing the work to get us back on the field. Lift and Tilt!

10.01.2022 First third of game pics and catch our breath time

09.01.2022 The Northside teams (Pine Rivers, Redcliffe, Caboolture and North Lakes) turned out in great numbers to play Norths/XXXX at their home. 45+ players turned out to share in the rugby, the spirit and the fraternity. Some solid forwards running it up the middle and breaking lines, with some fast paced running out wide. There was quite a mixture of everything, and sometimes glimpses of nothing. At the end of the night rugby was the winner, and the continual growth and support of the Northside Coalition. Lift and Tilt.
