24.01.2022 We are feeling so very special here this week having had an opportunity of a lifetime. We have all been travelling in Texas, and were lucky enough this week to be able to visit Brazos Valley Stallion Station to view some of the worlds best sires. To be able to see some of these stallions in the flesh was unbelievable. Huge thank you to fellow Aussie Terry Clifford for organising this for us, this was an incredible experience. Now I’m no photographer but here are a few photos we had to share.

22.01.2022 We love seeing our home bred horses out and about, have a look at this cracker! Pinevite Ed at Macarthur draft a couple weeks ago. We just love watching Ed’s progress in the campdraft pen.

20.01.2022 MCV SHORTYS QUICK SMART (Q-69353) 10 yr old Mare. Commanche Shorty X Quick Smart Shorty would be a great asset to someones breeding barn or you could bring her back into work.... We have a 2yr old gelding on the ground out of this mare and are very impressed by him. She was well started as a 3 yr old and had plenty of work for a couple years before being turned out and then later put in foal. 17.01.2022 We had a great weekend at the WGQHA Championship show. Our gelding ‘Short and Curly’ had a very consistent show placing 2nd in both the 7500 NP and the Open NP. Within the 7500 NP we were also eligible for the Bob Wheatley Memorial 7up award for the highest scoring horse aged 7 years and older. CJ had tied on a 72 and therefore was sent in to run off with Tracey Clavarino and her great mare EP Sophisticated Oak. We fortunately got through a run and won the award. I wish to thank the WGQHA for this perpetual award, in honour of a man who was integral to the beginning of my cutting journey and who’s memory will remain with me every time I walk that timeline.

15.01.2022 **FOR SALE** Little Kid (Q-80822) Trixie is a 14.3 hh, 4 yr old mare by Freckles Fortissimo and out of Kid Sister (Q-43120). Trixie was purchased at the NCHA futurity sale a few years ago for the purpose of a weaning mate for another filly. Broken in as a 3 yr old and then spelled she has been back in work for a few weeks now all with general riding and farm work. Trixie would excel in the camp draft pen and also would make a lovely broodmare. 14.01.2022 Here he is! Our beautiful broodmare Susie Peptos Oak had a gorgeous little colt by Black to Suen this morning. He’s certainly a little bit flash, would love to hear any name suggestions for this little fella!
