24.01.2022 It's no secret that we're big fans of tai chi, but did you know that so was the late Lou Reed? Here's proof you can rock and roll like yin and yang.

24.01.2022 Remember, there are beautiful things in life that happen every day.

22.01.2022 Great news, our new Cannington clinic has received council approval! It took us a little longer than originally planned, but we have finally found just the right place for our Cannington clinic. Please register on our website if you would like to be informed about our Cannington clinic opening. We look forward to welcoming you in July!

22.01.2022 "Most centenarians did not belong to gyms, run marathons, or pump iron. Instead, natural movement like walking to work and climbing stairs and working their mus...cles by doing manual labor like gardening and household chores were built into their daily lives. Unfortunately for most of us, natural movement has been engineered out of our lives." See more

19.01.2022 While IVF is solely focused on "sperm meets egg", Chinese medicine looks after the bigger picture. It takes a regular period and good ovulation to produce naturally healthy eggs. As well as good circulation, energy, sleep and low stress to ensure successful implantation and prevent miscarriages. These are the reasons behind why Chinese medicine acupuncture has been shown to improve IVF success in so many studies!

18.01.2022 We couldn't agree more.

18.01.2022 Today, we are grateful for all the wonderful mothers, step-mothers, grandmothers and great-grandmothers in our lives. Last year, our team proudly helped 180 mothers to successfully conceive their new babies. We wish all new (and expecting) mothers everywhere a very happy Mother's Day xxx

17.01.2022 We are very excited to introduce the newest member of our Melbourne team... Dr Alison Edwards. She is a well known Melbourne GP and we are delighted to add her wealth of experience in western medicine to our clinic. If you've been searching for a great GP to be your family doctor, we can highly recommend Dr Alison who now works alongside our Chinese medicine team.... Integrating the practice of Chinese medicine with western medicine in Australia is a dream come true for Dr Ping ever since she was a young doctor working in Beijing's busy hospitals where Chinese and western medicine are practiced alongside each other. We are truly honoured to achieve this milestone in the 25th year anniversary of Ping Ming Health. P.S. Dr Ping is visiting Melbourne next week, and between her and Dr Alison, we will have nearly 70 years of combined experience in both Chinese and Western medicine. There's never been a better time to come and see us in Melbourne!

17.01.2022 Australian IVF clinics have been under the spotlight this week. While IVF has an important role to play in assisted fertility, it's so important that patients are given the right information to make informed decisions about their treatment.

14.01.2022 Has your Chinese medicine practitioner told you that your tongue is too pale? Learn more about the many health benefits of Chinese red dates (also known as jujubes) - they are a very traditional and popular fruit in China which Dr Ping has fond memories of from her childhood in Beijing.

14.01.2022 Remember, life is not a race!

14.01.2022 It's cold and flu... and cough season. Learn how Chinese medicine diagnoses different types and causes of persistent and stubborn coughs that won't seem to go away.

13.01.2022 For all the fidgeters out there, keep those toes tapping and feet wagging - it's helping to keep your arteries healthy (and passively burning calories)! For everyone else, don't forget to stand up and take regular breaks from sitting at your desk all day.

13.01.2022 For over 2,000 years Chinese medicine has recognised our emotions as both a cause and result of physical illness. The heart is related to joy, the liver to anger, the spleen to worry and overthinking, the lungs to grief and anxiety, and the kidneys to fear. Keeping yourself emotionally balanced is equally as important as exercise and diet.

13.01.2022 Happy Chinese New Year from our team at Ping Ming Health. We wish all our clients and friends good health, happiness and prosperity in 2019!

11.01.2022 Last weekend was Ping Ming Health's second year presenting at GPCE Melbourne. Over 3 days at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre we met hundreds of GPs from around the country. This year, we also surveyed GPs about their personal experience with acupuncture. Did you know that more than two-thirds of GPs we talked to would refer their patients for acupuncture? Interestingly, half of these doctors have never had it themselves. Now they have a chance to receive a vouche...r from our clinic! P.S. Dr Ping Wang is now back in Perth after her recent visit to Melbourne :)

11.01.2022 Gua sha (channel scrubbing) is one of the tools used by our experienced Chinese medicine practitioners. It's not pretty, but indispensable for clearing deep-seated stagnations causing stubborn pain problems that fail to respond to other treatments. It works by creating local inflammation and breaking up adhesions (old scar tissue) that build up beneath the skin. Over the following week, your body will clear the scrubbing marks as well as the underlying stagnation naturally by itself. Feel free to ask your Chinese medicine practitioner if scrubbing is suitable for your difficult headaches, neck, shoulder, arm and wrist pains.

10.01.2022 A warm welcome to Dr Emily Qi, Dr Yihan Yang and Dr Leo Lau who have recently joined our Perth team! They are all well into their clinical training with the Ping Ming Health Academy. All of Ping Ming Healths Chinese medicine practitioners undergo extensive training with Dr Ping Wang and they are also supported by our Academy director Sarah and our senior practitioner team. We believe that providing the best care to our clients starts with a team that nurtures and supports our practitioners to do their best work!

10.01.2022 Meet Jason. He's a small business owner from the Central Coast, husband and doting dad. He's currently in isolation with his family, which includes his 87-year-...old mother, who suffers from Alzheimer's and Vascular Dementia. His mum is used to a routine and is missing her weekly shopping trip. So Jason and his family decided to bring the shops to her. We give our heartfelt thanks to all our staff and clients who have supported our clinic over the years as we continue to advance the practice of traditional Chinese medicine in Australia for the next 25 years! P.S. two more clinics in Perth are planned for 2017, and we also have some very exciting news for our Melbourne clinic to announce soon.

04.01.2022 The preservation of health and prevention of disease is one of the most important guiding principles of traditional Chinese medicine. "Imagine the Heart as a pool of water. When the surface is calm it clearly reflects perceptions from the outside world. When the surface is stirred by the wind-like movement of the seven emotions, then the reflection becomes muddled and a person will have difficulty perceiving the real nature of a situation." Here are three simple but indispensable principles of traditional Chinese medicine health preservation that we would like to share with you.

04.01.2022 Mothers Day is such a special day to our team at Ping Ming Health. We are grateful to have shared the special journey of becoming a mother with thousands of women over the years. 03.01.2022 Ping Ming Healths Perth team recently held a professional development evening and dinner for our clinic assistants and managers. Our assistants work together across all of our clinics and this was an opportunity for everyone to get together. We also celebrated the birthdays of Elvin, Diane and Sabrina. Our patients often comment on the great service they receive from our caring assistants who are an essential part of our team. Thank you all!

Fire Roosters are known for being trustworthy, punctual and responsible (especially at work). Did you know... our clinic founder Dr Ping is a Fire Rooster?
