22.01.2022 MENTAL HEALTH CLASH - In memory of Ben Walsh THIS FRIDAY!! We hope to see as many as we can get down to Sir Ross Mclarty Oval this Friday when the Pinjarra Tigers take on the Waroona Football & Netball Club in our Annual Mental Health Clash. The past few years, both clubs and communities have been hit hard & weve come together to fight to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health & raise the much needed awareness by wearing the reserve style jumpers our clubs have des...igned. We will also fundraise for our LOCAL organisation - The Peel Health Hub Peel Youth Medical Service. Earlier this year, we sadly lost local legend, past player, long time sponsor and supporter of the club Ben and would like to dedicate this game for him and give him the much deserved send off he deserves! Bens family will be in attendance and his 2 sons will be doing the toss and presenting the match day ball to the Best on Ground We would also like to thank the Peel Football Umpires Association for coming onboard to umpire our exhibition match. The PFUA sadly lost goal umpire legend Dean Mabbs late last year. Thieves have broken into the scoreboard area by cutting the lock and stolen the computer screen, monitor and mouse. Has been reported to Pinjarra Police. 04.01.2022 Mental Health Clash Thank you so incredibly much to everyone who came last night to send off Ben the way he deserves It was great to see Sir Ross Mclarty Oval packed with everyone enjoying some footy while supporting an important cause Thank you to all the players, umpires & PFNL who respectfully put on a great show and allowed Koopa & Jaxon to run out there and kick a few goals! The boys absolutely loved being out there and the family are very appreciative to you all. ... To our game day jumper sponsors, without you and your generosity and ongoing support we wouldnt be able to hold special events like this. Both clubs are extremely grateful. To the Peel Health Hub, thank you for being apart of our Annual Mental Health Clash, and for continuing to fight to break the stigma surrounding mental health and raising the much needed awareness, you guys do such a an amazing job! To the volunteers, thank you for making the night run so successful from game day personnel, the umpires, canteen & bar helpers, selling raffle tickets, cleaning up - thank you!! 01.01.2022 Message from the coach Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all. Our assault on the 2021 season starts next Tuesday 12th Jan at 6 o’clock. We will train Tuesday and Thursdays at 6 for the pre season. We have 25 sessions which will include 5 intra club scratch matches and other event to prepare for the season. Hope to see you all there.
