25.01.2022 THIS Such important words by @missconceptioncoach about how we label our feelings and how that in turn affects how we grieve our loss.

22.01.2022 "I found that the more we talk about it, the more it's going to take off or peel back that stigma," she said. "There are so many societal expectations around women and pregnancy and when you are pregnant you don't tell people because of that ridiculous 12-week rule so you're alone in that time and you're alone again when you lose the pregnancy." October is International Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month and Amelia is just one of the many women opening up and sharing the...ir stories of loss so we can start breaking down the stigma around miscarriage and #rightthestory of pregnancy loss. Thank you Amelia for using your voice to start this very important conversation.

22.01.2022 We see you, we understand, remember it’s ok to feel anyway after the loss of your baby Thanks April for explaining so beautifully what so many of us feel.

18.01.2022 "October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month in Australia. We thought that we would (very poetically) be announcing the birth of our rainbow baby. Instead, we are mourning the due date of yet another angel baby." @mummyplusmumma opens up about IVf and loss in this beautifully written article, shining a light on recurrent miscarriage. Thank you for sharing your story and helping us #rightthestory of early pregnancy loss X

15.01.2022 Gratitude & grief can absolutely walk hand in hand. Practicing gratitude is often a great way to help us move through our grief but it does not take away the pain of our broken hearts. So allow yourself to feel both, there is space for many emotions as we process our loss Beautiful words and image by @grieftogloriousunfolding reminding us that there is no right or wrong way to grieve a loss

15.01.2022 MUM | Misunderstandings of Miscarriage is now available to watch on @stanaustralia. Film maker and @pinkelephantssupport patron @tahynamacmanus has created this very powerful... documentary about pregnancy loss. This beautiful film is a raw and real insight into why miscarriage is still such a lonely grief and Tahyna bravely shares her journey of loss. October is International Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month and we hope this documentary will open the discussion around something that is still considered a taboo subject in our society. Starting the conversation and changing the narrative will help us #rightthestory of early pregnancy loss. We appreciate that this documentary might be triggering for some members of our community and we encourage you to get in touch via our website or Facebook page should you need support. Remember, we are here for you. You are not alone.

13.01.2022 It can be hard to know what to say to someone who has had a miscarriage. Not knowing how to respond can make us feel awkward and in turn make the person who has had the miscarriage feel unsupported or unvalidated in their loss. Here we share some of the things you can say to offer support. And remember that sometimes just sitting with your friend and being there in stillness is ok too. For more information on supporting someone who has had a miscarriage please head to our website https://www.pinkelephants.org.au/

09.01.2022 Currently women are taking sick leave when they miscarry and many, particularly those who have gone through fertility treatments, have used up their leave for these appointments, Pink Elephants chief executive Samantha Payne said. Today's Courier Mail reports on our Leave for Loss campaign to validate early pregnancy loss as bereavement. Currently FairWork Australia doesn’t recognise a loss prior to 12 weeks, but we are advocating for policy change to ensure workplaces can support couples with access to appropriate leave. https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au//246d53981a812f1294b14b7
