23.01.2022 Our gorgeous Dejanova wins her 3rd race. She’s a beautiful honest little girl and although she’ll never make us millionaires we will certainly have some fun with her! She now heads out for a spell for a few weeks before coming back in to work. ‘Kiss’ is trained by Nat McCall on the sunny coast

22.01.2022 And just that that, the year rolls around to Spring Racing Carnival and we couldn’t be happier. How the Melbourne Cup and other big race days will be run is anyone’s guess at this stage but I have no doubt we will all be ready and waiting, decked out in our finest!!!

22.01.2022 The below was shared today by our trainer Nat McCall and I thought it was great advice to pass on to all of us owners. Master race trainer Bart Cummings' Top 10 Commandments 1. Look at the Dam A good mare will usually produce a useful horse no matter what the sire.... 2. See the yearling in its natural environment. You need to know how they are treated when they are young. 3. Look at the size of the girth, if its large there is plenty of room for a big heart and good set of lungs. 4. The shorter the cannon and the closer the knee to the ground, the longer a horses stride. 5. The longer the rein, the better balanced it is when its hind legs stretch out to the rear. Balance is everything. 6. Trust your instinct. 7. Always put the horse first. 8. Be gentle Thoroughbreds respond to that. They are not machines. 9. 12.01.2022 It’s race day!!!! Up early this morning, clothes are ironed and hanging waiting to be worn, wearing shoes to make sure they are comfy for the day, shower soon then head to the track. It’s one of those race days that even if you’re in GA, you still take all the time you can to get ready! There’ll be nervous jockeys, trainers and owners who’ve been up for hours with butterflies in their stomach, even the horses will be nervous.
