25.01.2022 New transducer 509LHW works well, looking forward to getting out deep and making it work. New motor N67 ENT N45 must be the fresh horses but goes well with yesterday sea trial up at just under 30knts at full noise. Now, do I give it a good clean tomorrow or just get out and smash some snapper on fly .......

24.01.2022 The 12yo fisherman of the day!!Future champion this kid. No assistance required to land these and some others with no high sticking or organ grinding the reel. Good kingies and Samsons seen but not hooked, cut bait fly smashed but not the hook up. Good crew on a nice winter day what more could you ask for

23.01.2022 its great some good size Samsons are smashing up through the inshore snapper spots. I do love these fish - strong, angry bulldozers And then the look of horror on a clients face not having any idea that big crazy fish are so close to shore - my arms dont work The biggest change is inflatable life jackets that Im now providing. ... Wearing one of the crewsavers myself and have been very surprised how comfortable they are to wear. Few different things coming up over the next few weeks from a deep drop to getting the Tiagra s out and a day shark hunting do that should be a bit of fun.

22.01.2022 A few photos from yesterday. Some good Samsons to be found and not much trouble from sharks. The biggest cause of bust offs was getting tangled into the braid from prior busy offs. Easy to see when the leader is coming up all twisted. Still yet to hit crazy fishing but multiple hookups and railings and the my arms are going to hurt puts a trip out jigging worth while

21.01.2022 Deeper water run on Sunday. Spots are building nicely, samson and amberjack landed. Mixed in with them was snapper and good skippy for a good feed. Sadly some very large sharks but no fish taken. ... Unbelievable whale action looking in any direction. Great day out

09.01.2022 Out of the water atFremantle. Have a new transducer 509LHW and a 3D side scan to install along with a coat of anti fouling before a motor early next week. If anyone is available Id be could use the hand. Google what the transducer can do and a trip there is what I can offer- big baits and the first for a while in Perth ... Watch this space
