25.01.2022 RE-OPENING ANNOUNCEMENT In line with easing of restrictions from tonight, we are very excited to announce our clubs will re-open from tomorrow, Thursday 18th February The health and safety of our members and staff is our top priority.... Face masks are mandatory when visiting any of our clubs and must be worn at all times No towel, no workout. 19.01.2022 MEMBER UPDATE We are SO EXCITED to announce that following Dan Andrew’s announcement on Sunday 8th of November, the next easing of restrictions will come into play from midnight the 22nd of November! So what does that mean for our clubs? 1 All Locker Room sessions are moving back indoors- no need to worry about that Melbourne weather!... 2 Greater capacity for gym workouts (however you will need to continue to book your sessions) 3 Increased capacity in Locker Room sessions 4 Gym workout + a class per day will be allowed once again (bookings will still remain for both gym workouts + classes!) 5 Showers and water fountains will be available again for members We look forward to seeing more of our members back in our clubs very soon!

19.01.2022 Lizzy Crouch is here to share her Top 8 Tips for setting up a Whole Food Pantry! 1. Take a 'Before' picture and keep this safe so that you can compare with the end result- this is also a great way to inspire others to follow suit! ... 2. Get Prepared! Not only will you need some different sized glass jars, a permanent marker, large cardboard boxes and garbage bags, you’ll also need some good eco-friendly cleaning products and cleaning cloths. 3. Make time and remove distractions. Cleaning out the pantry is not an easy task, and may take a good 3-4 hours. Make sure that you have enough time to get through the whole task. 4. Gut, Donate or Dispose. For many, throwing food away seems like a waste so if you’d prefer to donate, you can often find a local group that accepts food donations. 5.Remove temptation... Try your best to clean out all temptations. Instead, replace them with some good quality dark chocolate, nut butters and possibly some raw treats. 6. Go plastic Free. Replace all plastic containers with recycled glass jars, glass containers and sustainable packaging. 7. Bring in the Goodness! Now that you’ve cleaned out and culled your pantry shelves of poor quality food, there’s plenty of room for wholefoods to replace them! 8. Maintain regularly. The first pantry purge will be extremely rewarding and impactful. When you’re done, you can take your 'After' picture and compare the two! Not only will this benefit the whole family, it will be easier to keep the bad habits out and welcome new, nourishing foods into the home!
19.01.2022 Time to get into the Christmas spirit with a Gingerbread cookie recipe from Choosing Chia GINGERBREAD COOKIES 1/2 cup butter (or dairy-free butter) at room temperature 1/2 cup raw sugar... 1 egg 1/2 cup molasses 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 2 1/4 cups whole grain spelt flour 1 tsp cinnamon 2 tsp ground ginger 1/2 tsp ground cloves 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt Royal icing: 3 cups icing sugar 2 egg whites 1 tsp vanilla extract 35 tsp water METHOD: 1In a stand mixer, cream together the sugar and butter until light and fluffy, then add the egg, molasses and vanilla and mix until combined. 2Mix all the dry ingredients together and slowly add to the mixer. Mix until everything is well combined. 3Cover your dough and place it in the fridge for at least an hour until it’s firm enough to work with. 4Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and line a baking pan with baking paper. Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface until it is about 1/4 inch thick. 5Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes and place the cookies onto the baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes. To make the icing: Mix the powdered sugar, egg whites and vanilla extract together in a stand mixer until smooth and shiny. Slowly add the water, one tsp at a time until your icing drizzles off a spoon and holds for a few seconds before melting back into the icing. (If it’s too thick, add some more water. If it’s too thin, add some more icing sugar.) Use a piping bag to pipe the icing onto your cookies.

MUSELI BOWL from KOJA INGREDIENTS... 2 cups of rolled oats 1/4 cup of peptic seeds 1/4 cup of cacao nibs 1/4 cup of buckwheat kernels 1/4 cup of roasted hazelnuts 1/4 cup of slivered almonds 1/3 cup of shredded coconut METHOD 1. Combine ingredients in a large serving bowl. One step and you're ready to devour this! Pair with your favourite sides and store the remaining muesli in an air tight container (Make it a balanced meal with unsweetened greek yoghurt and fresh fruit, YUM!)

14.01.2022 IMPROVE YOUR SLEEP Due to environmental changes and stress it is very common to experience change in sleeping patterns and sleep disturbances. The cardician rhythm, also known as the sleep/wake cycle is a 24-hour internal clock, found in the hypothalamus in the brain which cycles between sleepiness and alertness at regular periods. Ways to regulate the circadian rhythm include:... focus on 7 9 hours of sleep every night create a routine bed-time and wake time that is consistent. For example, bed-time at 10.00pm wake at 6.30am avoid doing physically or mentally stimulating activity 2 hours before bed avoid light exposure 2 hours before bed, this includes T.V, laptop screens, phone screens and use a dull light in the bedroom such as a candle drink your last caffeinated drink such as coffee by 1pm in the day eat a healthy well-balanced dinner including a protein source, healthy fat and small amount of carbohydrates at least 3 hours before bedtime. Limit any high sugar containing foods

12.01.2022 RASPBERRY COCONUT CHIA POTS from Lizzy Crouch (Serves 4) 1 cup (130g) raspberries, fresh or frozen 1 cup (250ml) coconut milk or milk of choice! (plus extra to serve)... 1 tsp pure vanilla extract or fresh vanilla bean, scraped cup (40g) chia seeds 4 tbsp coconut flakes 2 tbsp goji berries or other berry/fruit you like Pinch of sea salt 1/2 cup fresh berries or fruit, to serve 4 mint sprigs, to serve (optional) 1. Thaw the raspberries (if frozen) and mash them with a fork into a smooth paste. 2. Add the coconut cream, vanilla, chia seeds, coconut flakes, goji berries and salt and mix well until combined. 3. Allow to set overnight in the fridge. The chia seeds should absorb some of the moisture and form a thick, gel-like consistency. 4. When ready to serve, divide into 4 jars or bowls. Top with some extra milk or preferred yoghurt, fresh berries and any garnishes you like. I like to prep this early and divide into sealed jars in the fridge so they are ready to go in the morning!

02.01.2022 Seeking more SLEEP? Here are a few good tips from Lizzy Crouch to ensure you can catch up on a much needed rest: 1. Reduce your intake of caffeine (particularly after midday) 2. Get to sleep by 10:30pm. This usually means in bed by around 10- if this is difficult for you, try setting yourself a sleep alarm!... 3. Use blackout curtains. Minimising environmental light pollution (particularly if you live in a densely populated area) can really help to improve sleep. 4. Do not expose yourself to bright TVs, computers, tablets and smartphones after dark. This is really under-appreciated, and can have a huge impact on your sleep and health. 5. Move! Exercise will help promote blood-flow and help sleep.
