You may not have pelvic floor problems now but you are at risk when going through menopause as our bodies go through their new change in life 50% of Australian women experience prolapse! This is a huge number!! Understand the importance of pelvic floor and how to properly engage your core muscles to help alleviate lower back pain, incontinence and much much more

23.01.2022 Your weight shouldn't be responsible for how you love your body Your weight shouldn't be the reason you don't have swlf-worth Your weight is just a number ... It doesn't show how strong you are, nor how fit you are You can carry extra weight and still be healthy You can be someone who struggles to put on weight but still be healthy Your weight doesn't tell me if you have a medical condition or are on medications that make it hard to lose/gain weight Your weight doesn't tell me if you're a nice person nor your history long story, short. Your weight is a number, your self-worth should be more than how your body looks. It should be about how you feel internally, how much you move and nourish yourself with what makes you happy. It should be about loving the skin you're in regardless as this body you have is the one that gets you around each day, gets you from point A to B. Love and respect your body, feed it with love, exercise and nourishing foods (with some good stuff as well ) Give yourself a pat on the back and congratulate your amazing body for getting you to where you are today

22.01.2022 STRENGTH TRAINING FOR WOMEN: helps to build muscle: which then means your metabolism will actually be healthier and work faster depending on the intensity of the session, your metabolism can burn faster for up to 24 hours after the session! ... as you build muscle you should see measurements decreasing, clothing fitting better or even getting baggy as your body changes shape This is paired with good nutrition of course!

22.01.2022 The food we eat plays a HUGE roll in how we feel! These foods are great to boost our mood but also keep our goals on track! BANANAS: contain lots of mood boosting vitamins such as A, C, B6, potassium, fibre and iron but also a brilliant amino acid called tryptophan! ... The brain converts tryptophan into serotonin which boosts our mood!! DARK CHOCOLATE: just a few little squares releases happy endorphins and serotonin into the body WATER: our body is mainly made up of water, so if we aren't drinking enough water our body starts not operating 100%, think brain power, skin and cognitive responses. Aim for a minimum of 2L a day!

21.01.2022 I hear it all the time: "It's too expensive to be healthy" "it's too expensive to eat veg & fruit" "It's too expensive to exercise"... But what if I rephrased that to: "my health isn't worth the investment" "I don't want to find money to exercise and look after myself" "I have other memberships to pay for like netflix" Ah... did the penny just drop? You have just realised that you are making excuses to not reach a healthier you. I'm not talking weight loss here, I'm talking exercising regularly, moving more, having more veg rather then pasta, better snacks rather then chips. I'm talking making changes to your lifestyle to have a healthier life, to feel better about yourself, to feel stronger, have healthier looking skin, to not have headache from the food you eat and to not be constantly bloated It doesn't have to cost a fortune to be healthier you can go for walks buy frozen fruit & veg rather then fresh check your portion sizes, over eating is a big contributor to big food bills drink water instead of soft drinks

20.01.2022 I'm not talking about how much you can lift here. I'm talking about how much inner strength you have. That ability to squash the voices in your head telling you that you're not good enough, you're to fat, you're hair is terrible, you're ugly, you're stupid and blah blah blah ... That voice in your head that says these nasty things needs to be squashed and your ability to do that can take time but you have to do it. Just keep working at it. Start by just simply talking back to the voice, telling it you are enough, your body has carried you to this spot, your hair is amazing, you are as smart as you need to be and your body is amazingly strong Your biggest critic, your biggest bully and your biggest non-believer is you Imagine the possibilities if you actually became your biggest fan! Nothing would hold you back because your head will be yelling at you to go and get your dreams Build your inner strength and watch your dreams come flying at you

08.01.2022 So this badass woman has been with me for a few years now We have had many hurdles to jump over, many health battles that we worked through Every time something has knocked her down, where most people give up she just keeps getting up and moving again. She has so much internal strength and a will to keep pushing it's incredible to witness. I'm in awe of her strength Not only has she lost major centimetres off her body but she is now stronger then ever! This past month alon...e she lost 30cm off her body!! Her before and after speak for themselves, she has put the hard yards in and has worked her god damn hardest to achieve these results I'm so proud to call her a client and to have the privilege of watching her grow into such a strong woman PS: thanks for letting me share your story and photos

07.01.2022 WOMEN LETS TALK: why is my period late? So a normal cycle can be a little longer or shorter then the one pictured below as everyone's cycle is a little different. Understanding your cycle is key to understanding if you are doing the right things for your body... Reasons why your period could be late: hormone imbalance to much exercise for your body and not enough calories to help your body to function. This means you need to eat more or add in rest days not enough food stress, which affects the hormones and function of our bodies coming into menopause, not quite at menopause but your hormones are starting to change and your cycle is becoming irregular If you ever lose your period for 3 months or it has been irregular for 6 months you need to consult your doctor and figure out what the cause is. Your period is your first physical signs that your body is either not happy or about to go into a life change

06.01.2022 Drinking diet teas won't make you skinny Diet teas aren't a miracle drink it's a marketing campaign to sell a product most of them make you go to the toilet more, making you feel "lighter" and less bloated ... you'll weigh less because you have had more toilet visits the main target audience for these diet teas are women, as we are always looking to "better" ourselves because magazines, advertisements and such tell us we need to look a certain way Don't fall into this trap! Learn to eat for your body and participate in regular exercise (of any kind!) To keep your body healthy and happy

06.01.2022 Yesterday I took Zoe for a midday hike. Started off well, but we werent even 500 metres in when the worst happened Me slipping on a rock, rolling my ankle, landing on the said rock and as I was getting up a bug flew in my ear wonderful times! But! I got up and kept going... And I finished my walk feeling happier, more content and refreshed for the rest of my day. Even if I'm now walking with a slight limp and a very bruised bum cheek ... Anyways: there is two morals to this post. Firstly always get up when you are knocked down and soldier on. You never know what will happen next! But staying down isn't going to fix anything Secondly: get out in nature! Instant mood booster and head clearer

03.01.2022 Rest days: Some people love them Some people hate them ... But they are essential for your muscles to recover completely, to stop and chill out for your mental health and to just STOP Our bodies need movement but our bodies also need time to repair, readjust and get ready to go again Make sure you have adequate rest between sessions, this will depend on how hard the session was and how much time you personally take to recover Make sure you have adequate rest days per week, this will depend on the workload you have, how intense your sessions are and how long your body takes to recover completely. TIP: Some people need more rest days then others and this will depend on a number of factors, including: genetics hormones training sessions work & home jobs/chores if you're fueling your body correctly medical conditions Listen to your body and learn how long it needs to fully recover. It will help you to stay injury free and improve your training

02.01.2022 Have you reflected on last year yet? Accepted what has changed and what has helped you grow? But also the challenges we faced as a society through bushfires, covid-19 and every other impact that was thrown our way. For each of us, we have been impacted differently but that has helped to either make us stronger or lead us to a path better suited I realised last year I worked my little off to make sure my business saw it through the other end, not because I wanted to prove... a point but because I felt my clients needed me, they needed a sounding board for their stresses, a stability to the constant changes and to keep on track with eating healthy and exercising in a balanced way for themselves what's the point of this post? Well if you haven't reflected on the year that has been, I encourage you now to take a step back, a minute to stop and reflect. Notice the changes within yourself, your friends, family and surroundings. How has the last year impacted you and what would you like to see happen this year. Always be true to yourself
