25.01.2022 Lot # 57 Dalby Stock Horse sale Mountain Top Style Our first lot Style is on Saturday arvo Been out in the brood mares for the last couple years she is a good all round mare that our whole family had fun and success including all levels from junior to encouragement to maiden & novice on in the arena and at home. She is great in the camp, good outside, casual easy going mare ridden by men, ladies, backpackers etc. I believe she would suit most disciplines and most riders except the true beginners as she is clever and naturally lazy. 08.01.2022 Past Due I know due to so busy and shit going wrong but anyway we are proud but also will be sad to offer 4 top quality going / set horses for this Dalby stock horse sale only due to horse numbers and run restrictions and time poor. All four of these are very low maintenance and can be pulled straight out the paddock jumped on and go very well for both work or play. Lot number 144 Donrica Tiffany drafted as and known to us as Letty ... This mare is brilliant to have around and on the truck, catch in paddock with nosebag, brilliant to truck, float, shoe, handle cut out and especially chase on, she can catch and bend anything, brilliant in the bush on her feet and walking. She has been ridden work by more than 10 different riders of all levels and drafted by 5 different riders. In the right hands and once used to new rider/s this mare should go right to the top. 07.01.2022 This next Sunday could be the saddest day if me ole mate sells Lot # 177 Dalby Stock Horse sale Hartigans Hakeem but to us and drafting he is Harty Acres or has even been occasionally known as Hard dickin Acres Don’t know how to keep it short about this man, broken in by Jon Templeton and bought by us as a 2 y/o because of and thanks to good Mates Kev and Sandy Southern, Harty has been amazing to us and never, ever not tried his absolute guts out in the paddock and even mor...e so in competition. From 6 years of drafting with no professional training and very little to no mid week riding he has 9 seconds, 3 wins and many ribbons. He made both second rounds at Warwick and missed GOld Cup final by 1 point with 2 x 87’s, runner up stallion draft at Paradise he doesn’t care where / which draft or how big he loves it and always gives it all he can. At home he is so valuable he has even had first time ever riders on him and when anyone is on him you know you can count on that ringer. On the truck, yards stables, handling etc he is as good as any stallion and like a gelding whilst halter or bridle on. We only have three by him and love them so much but didn’t want to have too many horses bred to avoid not being able to put enough time into them. They definitely seem to have his determination, will and kind nature and he seems to be dominant but his progeny seem to also be bigger and better types and better walkers, his only two down sides but he was out of a 16hh mare. We are only putting him up as we are wanting to scale down and out of breeding and he is related to most of our mares and we have a 4 year old colt also by acres out of a very special mare to me. 07.01.2022 Looking for someone casually for approx 1-2 months work, duties will include but not limited to helping with horse and cattle work, mustering, yard work, weaning, feeding, mixing, tractor / truck / machinery work and general helping duties.
