22.01.2022 Have you checked if you are already eligible for Australian citizenship? Australian citizenship is open for Permanent residents or New Zealand citizens, persons 60 years or over, and those born overseas with an Australian parent. One of the most common confusions in determining whether one is eligible for citizenship is the period of residency in Australia.... As per law, eligibility for citizenship requires for a person at the time of application to have been: living in Australia on a valid visa for the past 4 years a permanent resident or eligible New Zealand citizen for the past 12 months away from Australia for no more than 12 months in total in the past 4 years, including no more than 90 days in total in the past 12 months To further determine your eligibility, you will need to calculate your days in Australia and your days outside of Australia. Some exemptions to residence requirements apply. If you have met the above eligibility requirement, it’s time for you to act NOW and start making an application for citizenship. Do not delay. The system is changing and test/exam questions are continuously expanding. The processing time is long, so it is best to get in the queue now! We can assist you. 21.01.2022 UPDATES: NEW CHANGES IN Subclass 485 visa (Temporary Graduate Visa) for Filipinos What are the changes in Subclass 485? 1. Establishment of the initial concession period which begins on 01 February 2020 - This means that those who are outside Australia from 01 February 2020 but eligible to lodge an application that requires them to be onshore can now lodge an application even though they are offshore. The end date of the concession period is not yet determined. ... 2. Visa eligibility requirements - Before this amendment you are not allowed to apply for SC 485 if you are offshore But now with the amendment international students are now allowed to apply for a post-study visa (subclass 485) even if they are outside of Australia during the concession period. And this visa can now be granted while the applicant is offshore. This means that former international students can now obtain a visa to return to Australia when travel restrictions are lifted. The visa period will start from the date of entry, not from the date of approval. 3. Removal of the usual requirement to have held a student visa within the six-month period immediately before making an application. This means that if you are outside of Australia during the concession period, but your student visa has expired but would have been eligible for an SC 485, if not for COVID 19 - you can now be lodged Subclass 485. 4. Extension of the period to meet the Australian Study Requirement from 6 months to 12 months for applicants prevented from returning to Australia due to COVID 19 travel restrictions. This means that the six months window the period between completing the study and applying for the Subclass 485 that was required for a student to apply for SC 485 is now extended to 12 months. So you know what to do. If you need help or visa assistance contact US and we’ll be happy to help

20.01.2022 3 REASONS WHY YOU ARE NOT INVITED FOR SUBCLASS 491, 190, OR 189 VISA Why are you watching this? MAYBE YOU Have been thinking of applying for skilled visa subclass 491, 189, 190; or YOU have a pending EOI or visa application for subclass 491, 190, or Subclass 189 with the Department of Home Affairs; and... YOU have done every possible way -- as in you have shifted from a cheap and popular program to a higher education program; you have sat the IELTS exam a couple of times, and tried PTE to bump up your English score; done and completed the language-translation certificate; hold off the engagement and marriage to get more points--- and yet - here you are - still waiting for an invitation !!! This VIDEO will explain the 3 important reasons why you never get invited despite all the steps you’ve taken to increase your points and why I think you can improve your chances of getting invited and eventually lodge or obtain your subclass 491, 189, or 190 visa. https://youtu.be/98O2nRZRQ8o

16.01.2022 SC491 ACT (Canberra) INVITATION ROUNDS & TIPS TO THOSE WHO ARE PLANNING TO STUDY AND TEMPORARY GRADUATE VISA HOLDERS. Do you know how many invitations were given away in the last invitation round (06 October 2020) in ACT (Australian Capital Territory)? Invitations were issued as follows:... 457 / 482 visa holders: 14 invitations 190 nomination: 7 invitations 491 nomination: 7 invitations Matrix nominating Critical occupations: 91 invitations 190 nomination: 85 invitations 491 nomination: 6 invitations Among the top occupations nominated by the applicants for in the SC 491 list are: 1322 - Finance Manager 2211 - Accountants 2332 Civil Engineering Professionals 2544 Registered Nurses 2613 Software and Applications Prog 2724 Social Professionals My TIPS for Filipino professionals and young Australian university graduates and students in the ACT (Australian Capital Territory) . 1. If you are a student or planning to get a student visa in ACT use the data in the latest invitation rounds. Pick a course that will lead you to any of the popularly invited occupations. 2. Do not get a cheap course whose only purpose is to bring you to Australia and downgrade whatever qualification you already have. Most of the universities in the Philippines have comparable if not equivalent academic and qualification frameworks. Use it. Be confident and do not go with the easy flow. Get a course that will upgrade your qualification and will give you the confidence to compete in the ever-demanding work environment. Pinoys are intelligent and are smart! Be confident! 3. Plan your migration pathway seek the help of a registered migration agent or lawyer to give you an overall view of Australian migration. They can candidly talk to you about your prospect of successful migration to Australia. 4. Check the Canberra Matrix - it should guide you on the preference, considerations, and points system in ACT. If you want to receive a similar update on other states and territories, let me know your e-mail address and we will send them out to you.
