19.01.2022 When your goal is body fat loss, you must understand how the body works with energyIf you can wrap your head around this concept, you are miles ahead in your results.. Your body will only burn through two forms of energy (In general with training lengths under 2 hours) so its important not to give it unnecessary options! The easiest and first priority form of energy is sugar, so if it is prevalent in the body, it will be chosen as the initial energy source Then once it bu...rns out, your body will turn to the secondary form (either fat or carbs depending on the training and your levels of fitness) If you remove sugar from the conversation, then your body only has FAT and CARBOHYDRATES to use as energy! Doing this grantees you will burn fat, keeping sugar in the picture does not guarantee you burn fat SIMPLE.. P-Par receptors they are the generals of body fat, and they will switch off from telling fat to be used as energy at even the smell of sugar, let alone the taste! 13.01.2022 BOMBSHELL! Everything makes u fat Nah but seriously, stress is a prick... this ones a lil harder to follow but here’s the basics.. STRESS! It causes this shit that lives in your adrenals glands (not the brain despite this dickhead saying it) called CORTISOL to release and reek havoc! ... Basically explained, cortisol takes all the stored energy out of the liver and shovels it into the blood stream (to give u the energy to run from whatever is causing u stress), unfortunately ur just paying bills or comparing your insta stories with your competitors.. now your blood stream is full of sugars in preparation for the Main event! But ur still here... sitting at ur desk... eyes glued to ur iPhone... And now, because the liver is empty, your muscles try and help out, they break their proteins down into amino acids and distribute the energy to the empty liver (and now the muscles can’t heal!) And what’s worse is the blood settles in time, and returns to the liver and you have an overload of stored energy that will store as fat if u haven’t booked a marathon in the mornang!!! Cortisol also helps baby fat cells mature into immovable mature cells!! AND!! Loves to take fat from anywhere in your body and distribute it to the belly (cos ur body is so smart and knows that if ur stressing, it’s best to keep fat (cushioning) around the very organs that’s keep u alive) BOTTOM LINE! Stress is what u make it... it’s a choice... life throws u events that stress is needed for! And sometimes it’s unavoidable! BUT!! If u can avoid it, or manage it, DO IT! 10.01.2022 Band Resisted Sliding Bear Crawl One of the hardest all round CORE control activities we have ever used in our programming. @nicanschau is a beast with his core control BUT still finds it difficult to nail this. Bands around the wrist to activate your scaps, ball between your knees to build a relationship between your adductors (groin muscles) and your inner core (TVA), band around the ankles to strengthen your rectus abdomonis (6 pack) and sliders under your feet to allow... movement. The goal is to minimise the fish tail effect of the feet as you move forwards and do your best not to lose the right angle at the hip with the thigh. This is such an advanced movement. If you don’t have sliders, just use socks on a polished wooden floor, and if you don’t have a partner, just anchor the band and practice reps of bear crawling out and then back in.
